The beauty of darkness, he let his heart sink with it.

Trudging on the bloodied path with no remorse on his face, he took yet another life with just a single slash of his wrath.

Void of emotion his mask enclosing his fragile self, he moved with calculated actions, circling the poor tied souls lying on the cold red floor.

The shadow crept up his spine, whispering bewitching words.

His breath sagged, he felt suffocated and used.

His soul cries to be freed, but it's too late, nothing could save him, not even his own light.

Blood signed him into this life, to survive is to obey.

The long-lost self that would never be found, hidden away from the eyes of people, permanently locked deep within this kingdom.

The darkness continues to gnaw on his soul feeding on his deepest scars.

He felt bloodthirsty, he can almost taste the pungent smell of blood in the air.

He can no longer ask for deliverance from his sins as he'll forever live carrying this burden he never asked for.

"That's enough." His movements halted when he felt a strong grip pulling him back.

He let him take away the katana he was holding, now dripping with blood. He heard the familiar clank of the metal against the floor.

He stood there motionless and void of emotion. It was as if he stopped functioning for a moment. He can feel himself dropping, he felt hands gripping his sides as he continues to lose his strength.

Suddenly there were no longer screams of agony, silence continued to engulf them. He allowed himself to let loose in his hold.

"I recall none of this were my orders" Venice brought the topic as he settled him down on one of the metal chairs in the room.

His fingers were painted red, there's a splash of crimson liquid everywhere. It's clear that he lost control of himself.

Rain doesn't know why. It doesn't happen always but whenever he felt the itch to kill, there's nothing that's going to stop him.

"Khun Vegas did." He replied voice null of emotions.

His mind is still somewhere else.

"Last time I check you work under me." There was a clear venom on the heir's voice, it's obvious that he didn't like the sound of his father's name.

"You answer for my orders not his." Rain looked at him dead in the eye.

"I don't feel like myself today Khun, if you excuse me." He pushed himself up and trudged away from his superior.

His boots made squelching sounds as he steps on the pool of blood surrounding them. Venice sighed into his hands.

Whenever Rain acts up there's really nothing he could do. He's aware that the boy is slowly losing himself which was why he gave his word to protect him as best as he could.

But it seems that he long lost Rain in the darkness.

Venice felt himself slowly slipping at the smell of the blood. He snapped his fingers thrice, the traitors were brought back in again.

This time he let his mask fall, no longer concealing his hidden persona.

"If you love your neck I suggest you go out before my knife takes a liking to them." His subordinates quickly rushed out of the room leaving the petty minions kneeling lifelessly on the floor.
