Chapter 34: Invasion of Cohozuna

After the cousins won their second showcase, Ash received the word that he may enroll in Naranja Academy's Terastal Program. So our heroes were now waiting in a harbor in New Sardine for Friede to arrive and take them to the Paldea Region.

"It's been almost an hour. Where's Friede with the ship?" Marie said as she was getting impatient.

Suddenly, Ash was getting a call on his Rotom Phone, revealing to be Friede. "Friede, where are you? Did something happen?"

"Ash, some officials won't let me take the ship anywhere in New Sardine. They said there's something dangerous going on and their urging all boats and ships to stay away or to be put away." Said Friede.

"Alright, we will hold up until it's all clear." Ash then hangs up.

"So, you're saying that all boats are to stay away from New Sardine? Marie, can you check the news on your phone?" Asked Callie.

Marie checks her phone and sees what's going on. "Apparently, a horde of Salmonids have invaded the waters of New Sardine. So everyone near its bay is to take shelter and don't take any boats out the bay."

"Ah, man! But I want to go to Paldea now!" Ash said in disappointment.

"Well, unless you want to help Grizzco, we're not going anywhere until they clear the bay from these Salmonids."

"That's it! Let's take a shift at Salmon Run to get rid of them!" Shouted Callie.

"Yuck! I'm not going anywhere near those things."

"Well, you got any better ideas, Marie? Besides, we're agents. We help the city and its people."

"Fine! If it will get us out of here faster...." Marie frowned. "Gabe and Hallie are still at the hotel, so we might as well tell them to meet us there."

(Grizzco Building, New Sardine)

At New Sardine's Grizzco Building, the jellyfish working there was flooded with calls about the Salmonids in the bay. He was running all over the place, taking one call after another, and assigning volunteers to specific hot spots of Salmon Runs.

Soon, Ash and the agents walk in, greeting the jellyfish.

"Oh, good! More volunteers!" The jellyfish said in relief.

"Yeah, we came to help get rid of these Salmonids because they're delaying our ride out of here." Said Marie.

"I'm really sorry of the trouble these Salmonids are giving you. They suddenly appeared last night, and we've been working nonstop to take care of them. Anyways, get suited up in the locker room over there, and we can get you started."

Everyone heads to the locker room and searches for suits that fit them the best.

"Marie! Look at this one!" Callie said in excitement as she held a pink slopsuit.

"Yep, it definitely feels like you." Marie said as she picked out a blue one.

"Ah, guys, none of these suits fit me." Said Ash. "Not to mention I can't even fit my ink suit underneath with these things."

"Well, I guess you have to stay on the boat."

Once everyone picked out the slopsuits that suited them, the Inklings headed to the dressing rooms to change out of their normal clothes to the slopsuits.

"Look at me!" Callie shouted, wearing her pink slopsuit.

Marie comes out wearing her blue one. "Never thought I'd be wearing this thing...."
