Urging to return Kofu his wallet, our heroes have arrived in Cascarrafa after finding it in Cortondo. Ash is ready to face Kofu, not just for his basic test but also for the World Coronation Series.

"So this is Cascarrafa?" Ash said as he looked around the town. "There's so many fountains and water ways."

Everyone gets off Koraidon.

"Thanks, Koraidon!" Ash said as he returned Koraidon to its Pokeball.

Suddenly, Riolu was getting all hyped up. It was swinging its fists in all different directions.

"Sorry, Riolu. But I wanted you to just watch my match today so you can learn from it. After all, you just hatched from your egg. It's good to observe first before doing it."

Riolu was disappointed that it didn't get to battle today, but Ash has a point. It just came into this world hours ago. Seeing a battle firsthand would be good for when it actually gets to battle.

"So, how do we find this, Kofu?" Asked Marie.

"I mean, he's a chef. So let's go look for him in places where there's food." Ash suggested.

Within minutes, they find themselves in a square full of food shops. All of which sold different ingredients for different foods.

"Vaultin' Veluza! Where?! Where in the world...?" Someone in one of the shops shouted. "Where in the world is my wallet?!"

"I'm guessing that's him over there, based on his outfit and his panicked expression he's giving." Teased Marie.

Ash rushes over to Kofu. "Excuse me! Is this your wallet right here?!"

Kofu turns to the person calling out to him and sees a boy holding up his wallet. "Vaultin' Veluza! My wallet!"

Ash hands it over to Kofu. "You left this at Katy's Bakery back in Cortondo."

"Gahaha! Silly old me! Thanks for coming all this way!" Kofu laughed. "Who are you, youngster? How can I repay yah, fella?"

Ash takes out his Tera Orb. "I'm Ash Ketchum, and I'm here to take my basic test! Not only that, I'm here to challenge you in the World Coronation Series!"

"Well then, let's head to my gym and get this battle started!"

With that, everyone makes their way to the gym. On their way, Kofu had a question.

"So, you people don't look like you're from Paldea. Why did you enroll in the Terastal Program?" Asked Kofu.

"I was on a winning streak in the World Coronation Series, I even beat Brassius and Iono!" Said Ash.

"What happened?"

Ash's smile fell. "But recently, I lost to another Paldea gym leader, Larry. I knew if I were to continue, I had to learn to Terastallize like all of you, like Larry."

Kofu could tell Ash was eager to beat Larry. So, he felt he should let Ash know the truth. "The thing is, Larry isn't just a gym leader."

"Huh?"

"He also happens to be a member of the Paldea Elite Four."

"What?!!!!!!!"

Even the cousins were shocked to hear that reveal.

"But, how can someone be both a gym leader and a member of the Elite Four?" Said Ash.

"That I can't answer." Said Kofu. "But, because of his Elite Four status, that makes Larry the toughest gym leader in Paldea. So, if you want to beat him, I recommend beating a gym leader and a member of the Elite Four that are before him."
