Hi (: I'm Kenna. I'm glad to introduce this piece of work lol. This is my book, Flap. Enjoy ;)
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Bethany's POV:
I'm looking in the mirror.
I'm an angel.
My past life forgotten. I don't know who I am, only that my name is Bethany Hudson and I'm seventeen.
I'm naked, but it doesn't bother me. In heaven, clothes are not necessary. But in the part I work in, they are required.
Based on my past life and how many people I saved from themselves, my job was assigned to do just that. I'm a guardian angel, and my job is to protect the mortals who need it most.
This was all a lot to take in at first when I decided I really didn't want to be naked all the time. I couldn't get used to the idea that in heaven everything is literally perfect.
My pure white wings, folded at my sides. It's inhuman. I love it.
Being brought back to life was the hardest and most painful choice to make, I had to choose between becoming an angel or live in heaven. I loved the idea that I could go back down to Earth and help people be able to join the millions in heaven. So I did it.
I'm not human, I look like one though.
After months of training I'm ready for my first human I'm responsible for saving.
I pick up the guardian report and read to myself:
Name: James Patterson
Age: 18
Sex: male
Status: troublesome, cruelInteresting, this doesn't seem too hard.
I put some clothes on.
"Well, James. I'm coming to save you."

James POV:
I'm looking in the mirror. I do look hot, I have to admit. I run my hand through my thick, glossy hair and turn to leave. I look at my backpack. "Fuck it."
Instead of starting my car, I light a cigarette. After taking a long draw, I ponder on what I should do today instead of go to that shitty place they call school.
I turn on the engine, I have the perfect idea.
I pull up to the nearest liquor store. There is a girl by the front door, sitting on the bench that has been there for years. She looks oddly out of place, wearing a pencil skirt and a blazer. I decide whether to hit on her or to be rude, but neither seems to be a good option.
I make my way inside the store, heading towards what I usually come in here for anyways. I grab a couple packs of cigarettes, and a carton of beer cans. I slam the stuff on the counter, startling the clerk. He's new, this should be fun. "How old?" He asks, too timidly. I grin. "Who the fuck cares, newbie?" I snap back. I hear high heels behind me. "Just let me buy the shit and get out of here." I grab him by the shirt collar.
Someone taps my shoulder. "Excuse me," I turn around, only to see the woman who was sitting on the bench outside the store. "Please release him." She states.
I laugh. Who does this lady think she is?
"And who the fuck are you?" I ask her, not bothering to be polite. "His guardian angel?"
She smiles.
"No, actually." She states. "I'm yours."
