Who Is God To Me?

God is my Father,
He is my safe place,
He is my joy,
He is my peace,
He is the one who always listens to me,
When I feel no one hears me,
He always wants to know how I'm doing,
Even though He already knows,
Because He wants to hear it like it's the first time,
He is my anchor,
He is always there to catch me,
When I fall or stumble,
He is a God who loves me strongly and deeply,
And that's a thought that sometimes scares me,
How someone could love me that much,
But He does and always will,
He's not going anywhere,
He's never going to leave me,
And that's a thought that comforts me.
