I'm sorry for what happened to you,
I'm sorry that you couldn't love yourself,
The way you needed to,
I'm sorry that you believed it was all your fault,
I'm sorry that you couldn't forgive myself,
When there was nothing to forgive yourself for,
I'm sorry you had to experience that,
I'm sorry I was mad at you for so long,
I'm sorry that I held it against you,
When you were little and didn't know better,
I'm sorry that I blamed you,
When you were innocent,
I forgive you little me,
I love you little me,
And I want you to love you too.
