I was running for my life, again. This guy just wasn't giving up and I was getting tired of running away. I mean; sure he found out that I killed his brother, but that doesn't give him permission to follow me everywhere I go.

I turned into deserted alley, it smelled like somebody died in here making me regret my decision to run it this godforsaken place. I couldn't run back, I was trapped with a wall behind me. The only way I could escape was the way back but that was impossible as I could see the shadow of my persuader starting to form around the corner.

Placing my back against the wall so I would face him, I got my gun out of my new holster from under my arm and pointed straight back down the alley, waiting. With his hands in the air, he walked slowly towards me.

''Stop right there,'' I said, it wouldn't do me any good if he comes closer.

''What do you want?'' I asked after a moment of intense silence.

He kept silence watching me with those eyes that looked exactly like his brother, those same blue eyes that once looked at me with trust.

''Who are you working for?'' he asked in a velvet voice. ''I'm sure that I haven't seen you before.''

I tensed.

It wasn't something I expected him to ask me, and what does he mean with not seeing me before. Trying to lose my tense figure I shifted my weight to my right foot, still pointed my gun straight ahead.

He looked at me with curious eyes now as I didn't make a moved to answer him and seeing as I hold my ground, he I step closer daring me to do something about it.

''Last chance,'' To prove my point I took the safety of my gun, rolling my shoulder to let my grip tighten.

He stopped walking, his hands still in the air.

Smart boy, I thought.

''Ok, answer me.'' his voice betraying his impatient.

I could his face now as he was standing in a pool of light, that came from the right building with broken windows. His face was something worth looking at, with his fierce eyes picking through his dark hair, his sharp nose and slightly thick lips. His mouth was set in a thin line a sign of his impatient.

''Ok, I will answer your stupid question if you answer mine first.'' I stated.

''I asked first'' he argued crossing his arms across his chest and setting his chin high.

''So? Just let me ask you something.' I could see he was getting irritated and seeing he wouldn't get an answer he finally gave in.

'Shoot' he said.

Not literally, I thought nearly squeezing the trigger, calm down.

''I was wondering, why were you following me for three days and when I gave you the time to approach me you turn away or walk the opposite direction until today ?''

It was really weird how he always knew how to appear and disappear like it was nobody damn business. It was rare that somebody could avoid me for such a long time and I was a trained agent so that was saying something. I have been carrying guns I never carried before, feeling more secure having them around since I spotted him.

'Well that's a very interesting question seeing as I can't answer you without lying, you have to satisfy your question with your own theories. Something else you want to know?' sounding rather bored.

It irritated me that he could get to me with his i-don't-give-a-crap-what-you-think-about-me attitude. Nobody irritated me to this degree. I lowered my gun so I could look him straight in his damned blue eyes. I was going to do something some people will call me stupid for doing it. I was going to trust him.

When I go on a mission I normally shut down everything that could make me hesitate. And yes trusting someone is on that list, but now it was after hearing about The Accident, I changed my priorities a little. Now I don't really dwell on the details; when I found out something about my mother that a normal daughter would make her hate her mother, seeing that I can't enter the category of normal, I just nodded my head after hearing it and shoot her dead the day after. Problem fixed.

After replacing my gun to its holster, earning me a lift of a brow, I settle for another approach; hardcore bluffing my way out of the situation.
