Han was a shy student, with a perfect family, perfect life, perfect grades, and everything he could ever wish for.
Everything was looking up in his life and he felt that his future was bright and would continue on the path of perfection.
Until his parents suddenly divorced over the summer, his father took 100% custody of his brothers while he was sent to live with his grandmother in the States as his mother nor his father wanted custody of him.
He felt his life crumbling before him, his perfect life was shattered, and his parents no longer cared for him.
He spent weeks crying over this until he decided to hide his past and begin a new life with a new identity, he even got his grandmother in on it.
She had been disappointed that her careless daughter had been so blind as to leave Han behind that she also wanted to forget about it so, she agreed to Han's plan.
They moved cities, and Han enrolled in one of the top high schools in the state of New York.
Han explored his new home before school started and ran into another student who turned out to be his future classmate.
He and Seungmin didn't get along but, over the next few days, they started to grow closer to each other. Han made his first friend.
When it was time for school to start up Seungmin distanced himself from his new friend.
Han could understand that he might not have wanted to seem close to the new kid so, he let it slide.
Seungmin continued to ignore and distance himself from Han.
Confused, Han went about his usual routine made new friends, and formed a new friend group of students who were transferred to an American school for a more challenging education.
Once he was comfortable enough to talk to them he told them about Seungmin, all of their faces went pale.
"Seungmin?"
"Yeah, why?"
"He's... not a good person."
"What do you mean?"
The entire group looked around and tried to change the subject but, Han kept insisting that they tell him and they caved in.
"He's... uhm... Seungmin's a murderer."
