It feels as though I'm swallowing thorns from roses, I don't believe I'm capable of speaking for myself. When all society expects is from me, it is to be virtually dead in order to own the voice I have.
Why is it this difficult to be a woman?

I'm the oldest daughter and only granddaughter on my dad's side of the family. Every day feels like a never-ending battle.

You can't look gorgeous. You have to downplay it. Otherwise, you'll be seen as wanting to overly achieve in life. Yet you can't dress yourself because you'll be seen as both weird and like a freak. You can't wear certain outfits or have certain hair styles in case you somehow look disabled.

What's with society? Why does it give us such unrealistic goals, especially if we don't all fit the criteria within life?

To not want children is seen as sad and depressing and as though we are not willing to give our partners something they deserve.

Well, how about what we want?
How about what we want for our bodies, our brains, our hormones to go through? Why is this a factor that is never taken into consideration?
