FLASHBACK: 2013, 7 year old Jaleah experiences her first suicide attempt. After watching both of her parents physically fight everyday and hearing the hateful, evil comments her mother would make towards her, Jaleah couldn't help but to feel tired. She held on to the sharpen knife as tight as she could, aiming it towards her chest. "Would this work? This is stupid, maybe I should try another way."
All jaleah could do at the moment was to hold the knife tight as she could thinking If her parents would even care. She had an amazing relationship with her father. She could remember he would always tell her he would get them both far away from her mother but Jaleah never understood why.
She could also remember her mother saying how James, Jaleah father, would always showing more attention to their daughter. Jaleah was to young to understand that her mother was very envy towards her daughter.
After many moments of overthinking, she looked at reflection in the mirror, aiming the sharpen knife even closer to her chest. "Forget it, I'm doing it." As Jaleah were about to push the knife against her, her father burst through the bathroom after seeing his daughter missing from her room. "JALEAH NO!"
