chapter 1 ( rewriten )

After finishing the fight with the hunters in the murim world ( I think that is what it is called ) cale and his family returned to unnamed 1 ( that is what there world is called if I remember correctly)

Appearing in the god of death's temple cale and his family members that accompanied him found it weird to not be welcomed with the god of death's priests or their allies as usual

The group observed their surroundings in silence until raon broke the silence and sharing what everyone was thinking at the moment

'' human ! something is weird ''

'' nya ! Yes nya ! '' the red kitten Hong agreed with his dongsaeng ( younger brother )

'' youngest is right nya ! '' the silver kitten on agreed with both her siblings

'' the children are right , the temple is unusually quit without any voices going around like usual '' the handsome golden elf which is actually a dragon commented

'' our allies are also not here like usual , cale nim '' the black hair sword master chimed in

'' your scary butler and his son are not here , something serious must have happened '' sui khan previously known as lee soo hyuk shared his thoughts

While all of them kept telling him those things cale was silently listening to his ancient powers observations and he was comparing the temple with the recording he got of it before he left last time

He looked toward the group he took with him this time and started speaking when they stopped talking

'' the temple seems to have been left for a while now ''

'' what do you mean by that unlucky bastard ? ''

Cale looked toward the golden dragon eruhaben and shared his observations

'' the temple is always clean without a speck of dust because the priests re always cleaning it which is clearly not the case right now , the temple is currently full of dust there is also spider wipes which spiders take a while to make which means it has been at least a few weeks since it has last been cleaned ''

He continued his speech while looking around himself

'' the god of death has also been eerily silent since a few days agi which is unusual , usually when we arrive here the god of death sends us a message across cage the god of death priestess or sends us a message across the mirror ''

'' so in other words something bad either happened here or the god of death got a problem on his hands '' sui khan concluded

They stayed silent thinking about the possibilities of what happened during their leave until cale spoke again

They started walking down the hallways of the now dusted temple that now almost looked like a down run hunted house

'' it feels like we are walking through a hunted house '' sui khan spoke trying to lighten up the mood

At the word ' hunted house ' the children and ancient dragon who didn't know what that term means perked up at it

'' what is a ' hunted house ' human's friend ? ''

'' yes what is it nya ! ''

Raon and Hong asked while on's nose twitched in curiosity while the ancient dragon only kept looking forward but paying attention to what the little hawk will say
