Forgotten Past

I - The capital.

-ugh where am I?

- Shit my head hurts so much.  where even am I?

As I look around the place I try to remember what happened, but i can't seem to recall.

- What is this place?.

-well i definitely don't know where I am, but I know that i should definitely look for an exit. It's very hard to breathe in here if I stay in here i might suffocate.

As I try to look for some kind of exit i notice a hatch in the wall.

- Hm I think i can open this.

I open the hatch and as I walk in to the other room I see many closed doors, aswell as stairs that lead to the surface.

- There it is! It's the exit! Well before leaving this place perhaps I should see what's behind those doors.

I try to open the doors but they don't budge at all even after i use all my strength.

- It seems this doors won't move, but there seems to be some text written in some language. Well perhaps I will find a way to open these doors in the future.
 I guess I should go now.

As I walk to the exit I hear a loud sound and I hide behind some boxes.

- Hey over here  there's some ruins open. Perhaps there is some treasure in there.

- HELL YEAH! Maybe I can finally afford a good quality machete.

-Wait a minute. There's nothing
there, just  great.

- OH COME ON! Well I guess we have to go now, we still have to get to the capital by tommorow.

- Yeah let's go now, it's still a long way to astroth after all.

After they left i decided to leave the ruins. When i left i saw lots of snow. After i looked up i saw a lot of mountains. Wondering what to do next i decided to follow the people that were just in the ruins , from afar  of course as to not get spotted. After a few hours walking i saw city that was apparently the capital of the kingdom as i overheard from the people that i was following.I follow them to the city gates but unfortunately i was stopped from entering the city because i did not have anything to prove who i am.

- Damn it, they didn't let me in. I should find a place to sleep its getting dark after all.

As i look around i notice a forest. i see a nice spot behind one of the trees that i lay down in and fall asleep. a couple hours later i wake up to sounds of fighting i look around and see the guards that were patrolling the city gates were fending off some short green looking creatures.

- YES! This is my chance to sneak in the city, i should still wait a little bit,  they are to close to the gate for me to sneak in to the city.

Some mins later.

- Ok i should be able to sneak in now.

I quietly run to to city gate and enter the city.

- Woah its so big. I wonder how many people live here. Well anyways i should probably look around.

As i look around i suddenly see a guard come up to me.

- Excuse me you shoudn't be here, haven't i already told you you can't enter the city.

- I'm sorry i just don't have a place to stay in, and i thought i could sneak in  without anyone     noticing.

- My god i hate people like you. if you're poor you should just leave the city and never enter it again, you people are affecting our good image, and well  for some reason the king wants to see you.

- Okay that's rude an what do you mean see the king.

- You see.

Some time later.

- We are here, go through this door to meet with the king.

He pushes me into the door.

- HEY THAT HURT.

As he leaves i open the door and walk in. When i walk in i see big columns with torches on them aswell as a throne in front of me with someone sitting on it.

- Hello i have been waiting for you.

Hello this is the first chapter to my story sorry if its short its my first time writing a story and i didnt want to include the meeting withe king anyways if you want to you  can tell me any mistakes i made i can always use some help in improvng my writing. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. The release of chapters will be inconsistent sometimes maybe even a month or more between chapters
