This one I wrote for a competition

Don't leave me hanging by a knock on your door,

because this will only keep me till my fingers bleed and sore,

I am the guest you leave behind

in all those letters that you find

from the post box with our names

Back in the day when there were no games

Those names everywhere that we carved

Are only left engraved into my heart
