Advika woke up to the sound of the alarm. She switched it off and got ready for her first day at the office. Stepping out, she wore a light blue kurti with white plazo. After putting on her jumka, she glanced at Buddy, who looked at her innocently. She cuddled with him before serving his food and water. After bidding goodbye to him and locking the door, she chuckled to herself that her mom still didn't know about Buddy. Just two days ago, everyone thought Aaditi mistook Advika for someone else and called for "Bubby," confusing everyone, but the topic was quickly dropped, assuming Aaditi misheard someone.

At Agarwal Company

Advika remained unaware that the company belonged to Kabir Agarwal and soon would be handled by Akhil Agarwal. She entered the office with a huge smile, looking ethereal in her attire, her glowing face radiating innocence and cuteness to those meeting her for the first time.
All the boys working there looked at her as if she were an angel from heaven.

Advika's POV

Approaching the reception, I encountered Dhruvi, who had assisted me on the interview day. We exchanged greetings. She exuded a bubbly and friendly demeanor. However, she left before showing me my desk and explaining the tasks I'd be handling.

Arranging my desk, I delved into my work.

Soon, it was lunch break. Dhruvi approached me with her infectious smile. She worked in the finance section.

Dhruvi: "Let's grab some lunch."

She said, motioning towards the cafeteria. I nodded and followed her.

We selected our lunch and settled at a table by the window.

The office was aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful interior designs.

Dhruvi: "Did you know that today the future CEO, Mr. Agarwal's son, is visiting?"

She mentioned while munching on her sandwich.

I looked at her with confusion, prompting her to explain how Mr. Agarwal's son would inherit the CEO position upon marriage.

I nodded in understanding and continued eating.

After the lunch break, we returned to our respective sections.

As the afternoon progressed, the office buzzed with anticipation of Mr. Agarwal's son's arrival. Whispers circulated, speculating about his potential bride and the future of the company.

I focused on my tasks, occasionally stealing glances at the clock. Time seemed to crawl until finally, a hushed excitement swept through the office as he arrived.

Mr. Agarwal's son, entered with an air of confidence, accompanied by his entourage. All eyes turned towards him, including advika's too, curious about the man destined to lead the company.

Dhruvi nudged advika gently, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Dhruvi: "There he is, Akhil Agarwal."

She was way too shocked to see him there. She cursed under her breath for not accepting her brother's choice. She hid her face with the file when she saw him looking in her direction with his famous smirk plastered on his face.

Meanwhile, Akhil's eyes were too desperate to see her; he didn't notice this fact. Suddenly, his eyes met hers. The way she looked at him with wide eyes before covering her face with the file caught his attention. He was busy looking at her when Kartik called him. He looked at Kartik and motioned for him to speak.

Kartik: "Sir, Mr. Agarwal wants to meet you."

Akhil nodded before turning towards her direction, only to find no one present there. He chuckled mentally and went towards his dad's office.

Advika stood near the copy machine compartment, believing she was alone in the room. Fanning herself with a file, she felt someone's breath on her neck.

"Done running from me?" Akhil's voice broke the silence.

Closing her eyes tightly, she whispered to herself, "Why is this grumpy hulk here?"

To her dismay, he heard her clearly. "This grumpy hulk is your boss," he retorted.

Turning to face him, she immediately regretted it as his face was too close for comfort. Stepping back, she replied with a sarcastic smile, "Soon to be... by the way."

Attempting to leave, she was stopped as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards him. Placing her hands on his chest, she tried to maintain some distance.

Akhil moved closer, causing her to instinctively back off, but he held her firmly by the nape with one hand while the other rested on her waist, keeping her still.

"Stop doing this to me," he whispered near her lips, making her shudder.

"What?" she whispered back, confused by his words.

He gazed into her eyes as if searching for something, then abruptly released her. Ingnoring her question he said,
"Guess we'll meet soon," he smirked, noticing her glare as she left.

Advika hurriedly left the office, unaware that their encounter was just the beginning of something inevitable – their paths destined to intertwine.

"In the density of passion, they'll discover the boundless depths of desire."

Dhruvi, observing Advika's perplexed behavior, figured she probably had something important work to do.

At home

Advika saw her mother, who seemed unusually happy today. Whispering to herself, Advika said, "I don't know why, but I'm not getting good vibes from my mom's happiness."

Saanvi noticed her presence and smiled, saying, "I have good news."

Advika smiled nervously and replied, "Why do I feel like it's good news for you guys and bad news for me?"

Aahan laughed at her response and ruffled her hair, saying, "The decision is yours, we're all with you, okay?"

Advika nodded, confused, not understanding what her siblings were talking about.

Saanvi explained, "Mr. Agarwal's family is coming tomorrow for lunch. Take the day off from your job."

Confused, Advika asked, "If Mr. Agarwal's family is coming for lunch, why should I take a day off from my job? Besides, it's only my second day. I can't."

Saanvi clarified, "They are coming for you, dear. And by the way, they know you work there, so Mr. Agarwal has approved your day off."

Pointing to herself, Advika asked, "For me?"

Saanvi nodded, and Advika smiled sweetly before saying, "Can you guys tell me why and please stop beating around the bush?"

Kabir scratched his neck, knowing his daughter's reaction, and said, "Dear, they want to meet you, you know, for their son."

Advika's smile turned sarcastic, and she exclaimed, "To see me for his son? You mean for marriage?"
she stated directly.
Saanvi noded her head nervously as she know very well to convince her daughter for this things is "impossible"
Advika: Then its a....................."NO" from me.
She then left for her room, ignoring her mom's call.
