Roxanne Weasley-
"Roxy, Fred, wake up!" Mom yells at us from downstairs.
I look up at the ceiling of my room and try to slink back into my covers. But, it's to late. Fred walks in and basically drags me out of bed. Fred is grinning ear to ear and I feel like punching him in the nose. I try to hit him as he pulls me out of my bed, but I fail miserably.
"Roxy, if you think that you're going to get to skip your sixth year at Hogwarts, then you are wrong. You're coming with me," Fred says.
I roll my eyes and sit up. I push myself off the floor of my bedroom and walk downstairs with Fred. Mom is cooking pancakes and I smile. At least I've woken up to some entertainment. Everybody in the Weasley household knows that Mom can't cook worth shit.
Mom turns and looks at Fred and me. She says, "God, I can't believe how grown up you two are. I'm just so proud of you guys."
Fred squirms around in his seat and I look down awkwardly. Mom knows how to make anyone feel awkward in any situation. She gives us another smile and turns back to her cooking. "Dammit!" she yells.
I look up and see mom has failed to cook pancakes. I can tell she's frustrated so I decide not to make any snarky comments about Mom's cooking. She looks at us with a sympathetic smile and says, "Sorry guys. It looks like you will just have to have cereal. Now go get ready for Hogwarts."
I don't waste one second. I quickly jump out my seat and run to my bedroom. My closet is open and I pull out a pair of jeans, a gray shirt, and a red flannel. I pull my hair into a tight pony tail and go get dressed.
When I walk downstairs with my trunk, I see Fred eating cereal and mom cleaning up her disastrous meal. Dad walks in and messes up Fred's long hair. He smiles at me and gives me a hug. Oh no, he's going to make a speech about school, isn't he?
"Fred and Roxy, I just want to say how proud I am of you guys for making it to your last years at Hogwarts. Now make sure to have tons of fun and play lots of pranks on everyone, especially Slytherins," Dad says with a wink.
Mom rolls her eyes and I laugh at her. Sometimes I feel like she acts more like a teenager than I do. I exit the house and put my luggage into the car next to Fred's. Dad, Mom, and Fred are rushing out of the house and I get in the backseat.
"George, why the hell didn't you tell me what the time was? We wouldn't be rushing to King's Cross right now if you had," Mom ranted on.
Fred sat down beside me and rolled his eyes at our quarreling parents. I shrugged my shoulders and silently laughed. It was a short drive to the train station since we lived nearby. We quickly hustled out of the car and grabbed our luggage, rushing to platform 9 and 3/4.
Fred went first and I ran in after him. We hurried through the crowd of kids. Most were hugging their parents goodbye and talking to their friends. I could see Uncle Harry saying goodbye to Teddy and I followed Fred over there.
Teddy and Fred hugged each other and began talking about their plans for school. I gave Uncle Harry a hug and went over to Dominique and Victoire. Dominique was laughing at something Louis had said and Victoire was talking to her mom in french.
When Dominique saw me, she quickly embraced me. When we had finished our hug, she said, "It's so good to see you! How was America? Was it exciting?"
She continued to bombarder me with questions and I answered each one as best I could. Victoire nudged us and said, "Sorry to interrupt, but we need to get on the train."
I nodded and gave Dominique one last hug and turned to my parents. My mom was hugging Fred, basically suffocating him. She was telling him that she hoped his last year went fantastic and I smiled. I hugged my dad and he gave me a big smile. "Good luck this year Sweetie. You'll do great," Dad said.
"Thanks dad," I said and kissed him on the cheek.
I hugged my mom and I could tell she was crying a bit. "I love you so much, I wish you lots of luck this year. You're going to do amazing things. Good luck with Quidditch!" Mom told me.
"I love you too Mom," I said and hurried towards the train.
I sat down in mine and Lucy's compartment. Lucy hurried in and smiled at me. We quickly hugged and she said, "I can't believe school is already starting. How was America, by the way?"
"It was fantastic! I loved it so much. It was absolutely gorgeous. We went to the this cafe in Boston and the food was absolutely amazing. I wish we could of stayed there all year. It was just so great and I really enjoyed it," I said.
For most of the ride, we talked about our summers and laughed at our stories. It was good to laugh about stupid shit with Lucy and I couldn't wait to get back to school. When we were close to the school, a Ravenclaw prefect told us to get our robes on since we were close to the school.
Lucy and I quickly put them on and talked about the party she was planning to throw for the Ravenclaws and I was pretty stoked about it. While Lucy was talking about beverages she wanted for the party, the train came to a halt.
We grabbed our luggage and shuffled towards the carriages. Lucy continued on with her party business when we got into one of the carriages and I laughed at some of her lavish ideas. When I did she'd give me a joking glare and ramble on more.
Soon the school was in sight and I looked at it with excitement. Lucy stopped talking about parties and gazed happily at the school. The carriages stopped and I looked briefly at the other kids in the carriage, then back at Hogwarts.
I got out of the carriage and went into the school with the other Ravenclaws, Lucy at my side. We sat down in the Great Hall and I looked at the young first years. I looked for Louis, trying to find him in the many first year students. I finally found his blonde head and waved at him.
Louis nervously waved back and I turned to look at the Headmaster. Headmaster Neats was her name. She was a tall, old lady who had dark, silvery hair. She had round glasses on her nose and was wearing dark blue shimmering robes. She mustered a kind smile at the first years and looked at the Great Hall with dark eyes. I forgot how much I disliked her over the summer.
The hat was brought out and sang it's little song. It sang about the houses and the greatness of Hogwarts. Soon one of the professor's started to call students alphabetically up. Louis was one of the last students, the curse of having the last name Weasley.
"Weasley, Louis please come up," the professor said.
Louis shakily sat on the chair and the hat was put onto his head. I looked at him with a large smile and waited for the hat. It only took the hat for a few moments and yelled out, "RAVENCLAW!"
Our table cheered the loudest in the hall and Louis went to sit by Victoire. Soon the sorting was done and we were able to dive into the dinner. I talked with Lucy and my friend, Marie for most of the feast. Once we were done, we went to the Ravenclaw tower and I nestled into my bed.
