I'm not Him (Zip x Edward/ZipWard)

Prologue: "I'll Never be Him."

As a child, Zip had always been close with Oliver. Even when he first befriended her, she knew he would be a good friend. It wasn't really a surprise when she started to catch feelings for him. She had always admired him for being, well, him.

But as Zip started to realize her growing love for Oliver, she saw him in a new light. He was no longer just another idiotic boy who hung out with her everyday. To her, he was like a candle in the darkness. He led her through school when she couldn't do it alone.

And Zip never confessed, not even showing a slight gesture of her feelings to Oliver. So he never knew, and she wanted to keep it that way. She though he was too good for her, and that he would reject her. Worse, leave her and end the friendship.

But Zip soon came to regret never telling Oliver how she felt. Now he had a girlfriend. A maniac, crazy monster girlfriend, who went by the name of ∆lice, or just Alice. And she hated Alice. All that crazy bitch did was lock herself up in her room, and she never knew why.

Nowadays, Oliver barely even talked to Zip. Only during class or when they bullied people. He was mostly hanging out in Alice's room, and is annoyed her to the core. How could he give so much of his time to someone he just met a few months ago, rather than his best friend of many years?

Edward was a mischievous one, always pulling pranks and teasing others. At the ripe age of 7, he was the school's biggest bully in elementary. His spiky hair matched his personality, annoying and hard to get rid of. He was just another one of those dumb asses who thought they were so cool.

Edward didn't go to the same elementary as Zip and Oliver, instead he went to an elite private school. That makes him a rich annoying kid. He had only met the two in high school, and they bonded immediately. They shared their love for dangerous antics and hilarious pranks. Together, they were the school's most annoying pranksters. The only ones, at that.

It didn't take long for Edward to develop a crush on Zip. She was funny, pretty, and liked boys like Edward. He thought she liked him back. Although he never confessed, and it would stay that way because of what would happen next.

Zip soon confessed to Edward about having a crush on Oliver, for years. How she never got the courage to speak up about it, especially after he started dating Alice. He was heartbroken, he felt like a million knives were stabbed into his body. But, the friendship continued on like normal, and he pretended none of that ever happened.
