Chapter-89

Author's POV

Parul looked back unconsciously and threw him a wide smile waving her hands at him to join them.

Shiva's eyes filled with admiration. He loved her smile like anything.

" Shiva..." she called.

Parul wasn't aware of his dislike towards kids, yet.

He shook his head and took a step back immediately expressing his dislike towards them.

Parul walked towards him followed by the kids. Irritation rose in his veins as they approached him grinning.

One particular kid annoyed him the most. He had brown eyes, ice cream smeared across his lips and he was holding Parul's hands.

That sight annoyed him to no extent.

" Uncle...." the little kid whose name was Abhi, squealed looking at Shiva.

His brows twitched along with his jaw muscles.

Parul noticed the annoyance written all over his face but she shrugged it off.

Who doesn't like kids? She thought.

" Uncle come on let's play" another kid demanded trying to hold Shiva's hand but Shiva moved back throwing him a hard glare.

Abhi who was holding Parul's hands looked at Shiva and,
" Hey...uncle is old..so he cannot play...this beautiful sister will play with us" Abhi giggled looking at Shiva's hard face.

Parul couldn't hold back the laughter. So did the kids.

" Hey!"

" Shiva...he is a kid" Parul intervened before he could throw a warning at the kid.

Abhi took a step back and grabbed Parul's dress.

She felt bad for Abhi. Shiva was staring at him like he was about to snap his neck.

God knows he might do that. She wasn't sure about his sanity at this point.

She made an uneasy face before turning towards the kids and kneeling before them.

" Abhi... it's getting late for me.
I have to go home...so you guys play okay..." she said gently holding Abhi's hands.

The kids whined in unison and after a brief moment, they waved their hands at her and dispersed from there.

Abhi was the last one to leave. He kissed her on the cheeks before running back to his friends. Shiva felt that was unnecessary. He was very irritated.

Parul got up and heaved a sigh looking at the kids. She was angry at Shiva.

Who would stare at a kid like that?

She found it unnecessary and too much.

Shiva's patience was running thin. He wanted to leave but she didn't seem ready at all. So he grabbed her hands and pulled her towards him. She yelped placing her hands on his chest.

His jaw twitched looking at her glistening eyes. For a very weird reason, she couldn't control her emotions. Especially since their marriage.

" Now...what did I do?" Shiva loosened his grip on her wrists and looked at her with annoyed eyes.

She wiggled her hands out of his hold and, " Why did you scare him like that?" she asked, looking at him with the same level of annoyance.
