The bird chirped, and the sunlight bathed the fields of golden wheat. A perfect time for those who were still not awake to... Wake up...
It's good to be lazy sometimes, but never excessively.
[Seng]: "I hate you!"
Almost as if he had never slept and simply taken a nap, Zan opened his eyes and gazed at the culprit as their elbow descended upon his chest.
Being welcomed with words of hate was something very new for him, who had often avoided getting on the bad side of anyone, even with those close to him.
He did not take the declaration badly, this was slightly amusing to him, and that was especially true during the morning.
No one is supposed to address these kinds of words to the sleeping.
Zan squinted a bit, his eyes taking in his environment with more ease as the seconds passed.
'. . . He's kinda energetic for the morning. But...'
Squinting more at the scene, Zanku could now perfectly see where the elbow would land, which led to the completion of a certain, uncanny remark.
'It's slow...'
His upper body braced itself as he took the inevitable hit.
With a minimal rotation, he managed to reduce the exposition of his body, before raising his forearm, and keeping it steadily locked in place with his other hand.
[Seng]: "Hya!"Seng, mainly his elbow, descended for Zanku. The child noticed the sudden change, but couldn't stop his movement as the descent resulted from a reckless jump.
As a result, his elbow smashed against Zanku's forearm instead of his chest, which absorbed the impact as the boy also fell on top of him with great force.
Sitting up and glaring, Zanku winced and rubbed his forearm a few times, feeling the numbness that rested there.
IT didn't hurt him, but the sensation that lingered there soon gave birth to a pang of annoyance.
[Zanku]: "What was that for?!"
[Seng]: "Eek!"
Noticing how his outburst scared Seng, he calmed down.
Maybe a bit too loud since the parents were in the room right next to them. But he was still wondering how come a child could think no consequences would come for acting this brashly... it was annoying.
Instead of commenting on that matter, he repeated his question.
[Zanku]: "What was that for? Because I'm your roommate?"
Zan asked as he moved his feet to the floor, into his shoes, his eyes fully turned toward Seng, who had already scrambled away from the bed the moment he raised his voice.
[Seng]: "Of course it is! You should just get a home for once."
Seng retorted, earning a severe pinch on the left cheek for this.
[Seng]: "Ow! Stop that!"
Zanku let out an annoyed smirk as he began to twist Seng's cheek with his fingers.
[Zanku]: "I already spent all my money in exchange for a temporary shelter. Now, face the consequences of your ignorance, you should have asked your victim before coming up with that plan..."
