Blue's point of view:

I tighten the bandages around my chest as tight as possible my chest wasn't very big so it doesn't really need to be this tight I just want to make sure.

First day new school, new town and new fucking Chipper.

I put on my tank top then my T-shirt and my jacket over jacket. I do a spin in the mirror and pull on my shirt.

"Blue hurry up shithead we're gonna miss the bus!" And that would be Braxen my older brother.

I hear the door open and slam shut I quickly grab all the junk I usually keep in my pockets and shove them deep into my pocket as I run out of the door and catch up with my brothers.

I hold onto Brax's forearm and Baileys shoulder. "God dam you almost left me!"

"Actually we did leave you." Brax says I roll my eyes. The bus screech's to a stop the doors make a whooshing creeking sound as they open the holler of kids comes to a stop.

I walk close to the back and sky down slamming my back against the seat. Another greaser kid stares a me funny so I give him a stare back.

As the bus drove down the highway, I could feel  the tension of the past few months and years of his life building up inside my body.

It was a nerve-jangling, yet somehow familiar sensation. The other kids on the bus seemed to be oblivious to his nervousness, as they continued to chitchat and make jokes.

I wondered if they would like him if they knew about his gender identity, and tried to push the thought out of my mind as best as I can.

I already know the answer to that they wouldn't like me.

I feel the butterflies in my stomach multiply to an intense level as I finally reach the tall doors of the main entrance.

I take a deep breath, and then enter the school. The crowd of students are already swarming around, talking loudly and excitedly with thier friends, and I try to blend in as much as I can.

I make my way through the crowds, keeping my head low and trying to not draw attention.

Finally, I manage to make it past most of the crowds, and find my way to my first class.

I look at the room number on the door, making sure this is the right one, and then I take a deep breath before entering.

The room is already filled with students, all of whom turn around to stare at the new kid that just walked through the door.

The students stare at me intently, looking me up and down, which makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Mostly rich kids looking  at me I can tell their rich because how they dress.

I try not to let my nerves get the better of me and simply take a spot at an empty table in the corner, hoping to remain mostly out of sight.

Usually I'd mouth off to the teacher but on my first day feels like a death wish.

The class chatter suddenly quiets down, as the teacher walks in, shutting the door behind her.

She looks at me for a moment, with a frown on her face, and then she looks at the class.

"Now everyone, I want you to welcome our newest student," the teacher says, pointing at me, and the whole class stares at me once more.

I feel myself tense up, feeling all eyes on me, and I just stare down at my desk, ignoring all the stares I get.

"My name is Blue Jamperie." I say sitting up properly I hear some laughs about my name.

After school, I find myself wandering the streets, feeling even worse than I did earlier.

I can't help but feel down and depressed now, and I just want to be literally anywhere but here.

The thought of going home also fills me with dread, as I just don't want to be around anyone else. Suddenly, the idea of going to the movies crosses my mind. It's nearby, and it would give me a chance to just focus on something else entirely.

As I leave the theater, I'm suddenly jerked out of my thoughts by a loud shout from across the street.  "dallas!" I turn to see what all the fuss is about, just as someone else yells, "Get him, get him!"

I run over to see what the hell is happening but by the time I make it the guys already beaten is badly.

I see Johnny lying on the ground, beaten up pretty badly, as Bob and Randy are still standing over him. I have math with them. I've never been good at math.

I tense up, realizing that I'm too close to this whole situation, as they both turn their attention to me.

I react without even thinking, tackling Bob to get him away from Johnny, and Bob starts to struggle against me, trying to break free.

I try to hold him down, but he's putting up quite a fight. Meanwhile, Johnny is just laying there, looking at us in shock, as Randy shouts at us to stop.

Bob is struggling against me still, as Randy yells at both of us to stop and leave Johnny alone.

I reach into my pocket, pulling out a pocket knife, which makes Bob freeze in his tracks, his eyes widening with fear as he stops struggling against me.

Bob stares at the knife in horror, as Randy also stares at me, and he quickly pulls Bob away from me.

Bob keeps glancing over at me, clearly afraid of what I may do, as Randy keeps pulling him further and further away.

I stand up and hold the knife towards them "Look man, I don't want any trouble, just back off," I say, trying to sound tough like a  tuff greaser, as Bob glances over at me fearfully.

Three guys run over, clearly also having heard the commotion, and they don't seem to know who I am.

Ponyboy looks at me curiously for a moment, eyeing me up and down. I have English with him he sits behind me.

Ponyboy looks at me in disbelief for a split second, before a guy in a Mickey Mouse shirt chimes in and says, "So you saved Johnny, huh?" He glances at me, before they both look at Johnny, who is still shaken up and looking at me curiously.

Ponyboy and Two-Bit explain that their names are Ponyboy Curtis and Two-Bit Matthews, and Sodapop Curtis who seems to be soothing Johnny, and that Johnny's last name is Cade.
