zach & momona met when they were 6 and 5 years old in kindergarten. they were academic rivals and annoyed each other at first, but eventually became best friends as they grew older & closer together. even their parents became friends too.
they dated in 9th grade for a few months, but shit got complicated. no one really knows what actually happened, but after they broke up, their friendship fell out too as things got a bit weird between them. then, zach moved schools for 10th grade.
a few years later, on his first day of college, zach finds out that momona moved to his school for college. now, they're fated to bump into each other again after years of no contact.
