Olivia's P.O.V.

Slowly, my eyes opened up and I found myself in a strange, European styled room. It looked like something out of a fairytail too with the expensive looking furniture and fancy decor.
"Ah. You're finally awake miss. Did you sleep well?" A calming female voice asked. I looked to my left and saw a dirty blond long haired woman with brown eyes smile at me.
"D-dare(wh-who)..."
"Watashi wa Smith Kylee desu. And I am one of the many maids here in the mansion. You see, this is the Yakutza mansion and we all work for Suga-Sama. You will meet him soon. Shinpai shinaide kudasai(please don't worry). I promise you you won't be harmed. Suga-Sama is a nice leader as long as you are not on his bad side. Other wise he is very kind."
"S-sou ka(I see). Can you please tell me how I got here." I asked as I sat up in bed.
"Ace brought you here. Haha. He said he tried really hard to wake you up but you wouldn't even twitch a eye. So he brought you here to rest." Kylee said kindly with a smile. I felt my face burn at the thought of Ace and all the possible ways could've done to try to wake me up and how he carried me home. I quickly brushed those thoughts away not wanting my imagination to get out of hand.
"Wait, Ace lives here?!" I asked startled.
"Hai(yes). He also works for Suga-Sama. Just like everyone here, we all work for Suga and we work for him because we want to. All 408 of us and counting. So, you see, there is nothing to fear. Anyway, how are you feeling?" Kylee asked.
"I am doing well. Thank you very much for your concern." I said with a smile as I looked back at the young maid.
"That is a relief. Also, here is your cat." Kylee said as she handed me a sleeping and pampered Casper. Which made me laugh.
"Well, lets go. It's about time you should meet Suga-Sama."
"M-matte kudasai(please wait). What is going on??" I asked.
"You may be joining the gang. Again, don't worry about anything."
"H-hai(yes)." I said a bit unsure. This doesn't feel right, yet I have nothing better to do. No where to call my true home, no one important to go back to. I mean, Casper is right here in my arms. So I might as well see what is going on.
I let Kylee lead the way as she lead me to these big, wooden double doors that had beautiful carvings in it.
"This is Suga-sama's office." She said smiling back at me.
"O-oh." I stuttered, not knowing what do to in this situation. Kylee chuckled and knocked on the door and then said,
"I brought the girl that Ace brought home over earlier today. May she come in?" Kylee asked politely. Just then, there was this really tall, black haired, green eyed handsome, young man that opened the door and looked down at us with a soft smile.
"Ah. Welcome human girl."
"Hu..." I was about to repeat when I saw that the man had giant black wings. He isn't human! What is he then?! What is going on?! This is not normal. Life isn't like life in a manga or anime right? Then....
"Akira, stop scaring the girl and put away those wings Mr.Tengu ruler." A male voice said. And wait, Tengu! I am in front of a Tengu! Masaka(no way)! Where is the logic in all this? This makes no sense. I have to run. But where? I have Kylee behind me and a Tengu in front of me. I guess I have no choice but to follow.
I was silent as they lead me in and closed the door. The room was humungous and the walls were brown. There was giant book cases that were on the sides and they reached from the floor to the ceiling which was probably 40 feet high. The ceiling had a giant, beautiful crystal chandelier and there leather couches and chairs in the room. Finally, in front of me sat another good looking young man with wild brown hair and brown eyes. Then, he spoke,
"You must be the young woman who Ace brought home. My name is Kano Suga, but call me Suga. Anyone who enters this mansion is automatically my family. Here, we accept everyone for who and what they are. Take Akira here for example, he is my best friend/second in command and he is the ruler of the Tengu. Yet we are familiar with each other. Also, let me tell you a secret..." He said with a smirk and leaned across the big desk.
"No one here is truly human." "Wh-what do you mean?"
"Everyone here has come from different backgrounds and circumstances, yet, what is the same about us all, we have something irregular about us. Another example is Kylee. She has a demon inside her named Eelyk and she is a cat demon that only comes out whenever she is stressed."
"It's true." Kylee confirmed.
"You see, we have, demons that have gone rouge, animal people, other worldly beings, spirits, etc. We have at least one of each in this household of 409. That is with me in the count. And everyday we are getting new people. People who have been saved and have at least something supernatural about them. But you should be well aware of the abnormal. Right, Kawashima Olivia?" He said in a business like tone.
"Wh-wha..."
"You don't have to hide it from me. I know everything already. I have my tricks anyway. Yet they also have their limits. Anyway, I will not go into full detail since this is already confusing enough. But it due time, the more familiar you get with this setting you will fully understand in time. But one piece of advice from me to you is to not over think everything. Here, logic and the supernatural coincide with each other. Anything is possible here and there are no limits to how inane things can get."
"H-hai."
"If there is anything you need to know, feel free to ask me anything and I will answer them to the best of my ability." Suga said cheerfully with a smile.
"H-hai. Arigatou gozaimasu." I said and bowed.
"Also, one more thing, I allow my gang members to do as they please and live their own lives. So, you can join ano still live the life you want, all you have to do is follow any order that I give you. And I do give my members allowances and they have the choice to live in the mansion. Here you are fed and there are many means of entertainment. You are also free to roam around. If I ever need anything I have messengers so you have nothing to worry about."
"H-hai. A-ano, where do you get all this money?" I asked and then Suga smirked.
"Lets just say I my ways and I also have many connections."
"S-Sou ka(I see)."
"So, do you want to join? We are also a tight knit group and we protect each other. Again, we are family. Also, I may be a gang boss and do bad things at times, yet, you'd be surprised to know that I have morals too. Hehe." Suga said in a warm voice that was both soothing and welcoming. It's strange how one person can have this much charm. I guess he isn't the leader for nothing. Again, everything in this world has it's reasons.
"I-I am sorry but I need some time to think about it." I said, I still need time to think about this and whether or not I should trust these people. I want to but again, I am not sure. Also, this is too much to take in all at once.
"It's ok. I understand that this is all a lot to take in. In the mean time you can stay as long as you want as a guest and we will still treat you kindly. You may leave any time you want." He said still with a kind voice. I nodded and excused myself as I bowed and left the room. As I walked down the halls Casper spoke,
"Goshuujin-Sama, daijoubu(are you alright)?"
"Un."
"Hey, so do you think there are people like me here? People that can turn human too." Casper asked. I smiled down at the white kitty and pet his head.
"Maybe."
"Hey, you should join. They seem friendly. Also, it seems like they don't care about your past and will gladly be your friend."
"Casper, I said I will think about it. Also, they are nice people and I am grateful they are letting me stay. Not to mention..."
"You need to calm down a bit goshuujin. This shouldn't be that big of a shock. And if you think about it, it can make sense. Also, he did say people with different backgrounds and circumstances are here. So not everyone here has had a perfect life and will get you. So, think about it Goshuujin-Sama."
"That is what I have been trying to say! Haaa. Dumb cat."
"Hehe. I still love you." He said as he purred as he made his way onto my shoulder and rubbed his head against my cheek. I laughed and then started to pet him again.
"I love you too neko-chan(kitty)." I then kept on walking down the halls to look for the downstairs and see if Ace was around. As I was walking, I would see everyone and then notice that they all look human so it's hard to believe that these people could all be magical in some sort of way. Then, I wondered, if there is something paranormal going on with everyone, then, what about Ace and what about me?

Suga's P.O.V.

I watched the Kawshima leave my office and the first thing I thought was that she is a lost one.
Kylee then excused herself and left to go work, leaving only Akira and I to talk in private.
"Akira. Olivia Kawashima. Her parents are Orochi and Silvia Kawashima right?"
"They are. That is their daughter."
"What a poor girl."
"Why are you talking like that? She is technically older than you. You are 20 & she is 22."
"Shhhhhhh. Don't go all techincal on me! Haaaa. Whatever. Anyway, the Kawashimas. Tell me more about them Akira. I only know that they bring bad luck according to the town folk lore about them. Also, that the daughter is their evil spawn and that she will one day grow up like her parents. So she is constantly attacked. Haaaa. People are pretty irrational at times and just go on and believe in labels. Not even bother to reason." I said as I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Yes. Silvia O'Neil, the Irish American Immigrant, who was already a wanted cat burglar in America. Then, Orochi Kawashima, a master criminal here in Japan. The two met when Silvia had came here to run away from the Americans and had become partners with Orochi when they met while going after a prized jewel at a museum in kyoto. Those two hit it off well and were unstoppable. Yet, they also made a deal with a demon. A deal that was supposed to give them powers. He had promised them immortality once they had a daughter and when she is 18, she was supposed to have immortality and to be given to the demon to be his bride. They had her yet, there were difficulties. The Kawashima's would abuse their daughter for they hated her. They saw her as a burden. They were stupid and selfish people who didn't fully understand anything. Their hearts were pitch black as they were merciless and would not let anyone get in the way." Akira explained.
"Yet, why? Why are things playing out the way they are?" I asked, thinking about this.
"It seems like there is more than one source to this. Something more darker, & they're purposely making things complicated and confusing so it would be harder to help this girl and gain control. Because, have you ever wondered why people still hate Olivia-san?" He asked.
"Hm. No. What do you have in mind?"
"Someone is feeding the fire. Making the humans believe that she is evil." He pointed out.
"True. Hm. This is a issue. Do you think she is aware of this?" I asked.
"Isn't obvious? She isn't. But I have a feeling, something is going to start. Especially now." Akira said gravely.
"Why do you say that?"
"I just have that feeling. I need to look more into it." Akira said.
"Oh, Suga, one more thing. Notify him. He would be overjoyed to know that his cousin has arrived." Akira said with a smile. I smiled back and nodded.
"I will notify him right away. Thank you very much for reminding me buddy." I said as I pulled out my cellphone to call who he meant.
"Yea. Let's keep a eye out on Ace and Olivia."
"Huh? Why Ace?" I asked, confused.
"Because, they are obviously close. Ace wouldn't just bring anyone home."
"True. But that doesn't mean anything. Does it?"
"Have you not noticed? There has been a cloaked man spotted around the mansion and he carries the same sword as Ace. Which means, Ace too might have something dark going on two. So, we have two issues on our hands. Which means things are going to happen." Akira pointed out.
"I see. Well, keep an eye out will you? Also, be sure to relax and spend some time with your girlfriend. Tsubasa, one of our information girls. Hehe." I teased him.
"D-damare(shut up)." Akira stuttered, embarrassed as his face turned a deep shade of red.
"Haha. Just wanted to lighten up the mood. Anyway, you know the issue. Let us keep on doing our usual business but be aware of what else is brewing ok?"
"Hai. Wakatta(Yes. Understood)." Akira said and then left, excusing himself.leaving me alone in my office as I started to call him up. Leaving me to think.
What is going to happen and why is this happening all of a sudden? Also, that demon that is After Olivia, what is he planning and what is wrong with Ace? And what will both issues cause? All I can do now is to wait and see & be prepared for anything if I want to help Ace and Olivia. They are now my family and I will do anything to help them resolve this. Even if this is their own battles, I will support them. Every step of the way.
