Life from a different perspective

Trees dance in the presence of the soothing wind as the leaves say their goodbyes to their branches. The Sun hides behind the sorrowful clouds as they pour down tears. A beautiful shade of marmalade coats the tree leaves. Amidst the circumstances walks a man with a beige coat, dark brown hair strands between his eyes, flowing along the wind as he walks into the woods. With each step he took, his mind felt at ease. "I want to be at peace" his thoughts echo back to him as he takes yet another step further into the welcoming woods. In a moment, shivers awaken his senses. An eerie presence of a voice surrounds him even though there was no one in his sight. "Follow me for you shall not regret it" the voice whispers in his ear as a book in his hand falls to the ground. With nothing but desperation to end his life, the man follows the voice deep into the mysterious forest. He stopped as he saw a wall of fog with a lantern lit in the middle being held by a beautiful woman with auburn-brown hair with eyes which were an alluring hazel shade. Time stopped as the color from his face drained in a state of overwhelm .It was his dead lover, Jane. "Jane.." he breathlessly says. "Henry." she replies back with a soft smile. As Henry leans in tearfully kissing his lover, she dissipates into the fog. A lost soul, forever gone. Henry drowns in his own pool of tears as he knelt to the ground. It was all an illusion. He was hallucinating. Confused and stranded in life he decides to pull himself together to head home until he sees a blinking white light far away in the distance. His pupils dilated in fascination and fear as he decides to go towards it. Every step he took, the forest felt more and more eerie. He saw a figure running. Out of impulse he followed it. Desperate with hope, while tears stream down his eyes, Henry's breath quickened as he sprinted after the figure. But all of a sudden he'd realized he was circling the forest. And the figure was gone. It was never there. He ran towards nothing. Again and again.
