Life is unpredictable and unfair, well, that's why it's life. What comes has to depart one day, wether good or bad. Meera and the family returned back to Jaipur the following day after Avinash and Emma's reception. The night of their reception was, strange.

Meera- 1 Week Ago

"Hello, Meera". Randheer this side.
"Boliye Chachu", any problem?

"Yes bachcha, he's not involved in just Shreya's or Inayat's case but hundreds of more girls from three different countries", he notified.

I knew it, that bastard. I knew there's much more to him than it seems. I want to know much more, what had happened in these seven years that, he disappeared into thin air like he never existed.

Where did he fucking go? And, most importantly, why is he back now? I picked the letter up, the one that I received yesterday.

I was in my office when Shefali came and handed me a bouquet of black roses along with an envelope, signed to my name.

Just looking at the black roses, I knew there's something fishy. I can't leave for Mumbai at the moment, I have work to take care of and a family to return to. The only one who can help me is, her.

Once, a part of the four of us, now a distant acquaintance. She has buried herself, within the shadows of grief, I know. There's no way one can ever get over losing their mother but, I need your help Yuk.

You'd vowed not to step into the abyss of darkness once again but, it's just a glimmer of hope from my side and, that's you.

I dialled her after contemplating for about an hour with a mind full of doubt and a heart thudding abnormally beneath my chest.

"Hello," boomed her soft voice in my eardrums.

"Hey Yuk", I replied. A soft sigh escaped my throat as an uncomfortable silence prevailed between us.

"How you doing, Yuk." I managed to break the silence, it was naturally awkward. We were talking after almost two years.

"Just fine Meera. Congratulations on your wedding", she replied.

"Thanks", I said with a soft sigh. "I uh, need your help Yuk", I added.

"I know, she chuckled. About Arjun," right? She perked.

"How do you know?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Maidan chhoda hai, ladai nahin, she retorted. Don't worry Meera, you'll have him at your feet in a month."

"Yuk, why did you not say no? Tune toh ye duniya chhod di thi na?"

"Hm, magar I can do pretty much anything for you Meera, you did when I needed it didn't you? Okay bye," she added.

I just hope she finds her happiness and holds onto it, she deserves it more than anyone else. She's beautiful inside out.

I reread the letter and this time, the anger surging through me doubled. It was a straight attack, a blow to my pride, something I can never take.

"Hello Princess,

Seems like we're going to meet again, soon. Your attempts to reach me and find my presence shows how desperate you are. Fiery but naïve, still the same princess.

Aapke aas-pass hi hun main, aur is baar bhi... you'll lose someone you love. You did that, you took away my family and I will take away yours.

Phir Milenge,
A.S."
