Princess and Baby were sitting in front of their daddy in the conference room. Their father hardly ever spoke to them only when necessary. And every time the siblings knew it would be a trouble.
At first, Sr. Jeon spoke to Jungkook asking him about the pornography and the money it was bringing to the empire. He also made sure that no single citizen of the country would be able to view any other network than theirs. Jungkook informed that even the international market loved their content a lot. Despite being such a messy and sensitive topic, they both spoke in business like tone.
Sr. Jeon then moved to Princess and knew what she was doing. He had more eyes on her than anyone else. He knew her every move, her every strike and he also knew that she was slipping away from his hands. He needs to put a leash on her.
"Princess," Sr. Jeon licked his lips, "I think you both know why I called you here. She has turned 25 quite recently. And I don't want to delay the marriage."
Both Jungkook and Princess looked up. Their most hated topic was on the table.
Sr. Jeon adjusted in his seat and folded his hands together seeing how his children tensed. His eyes moved to Jungkook. Boy, he had turned into a monster with his tallness and muscles. He often heard from his members how Jungkook was a monster not just by his looks but by his deeds too.
"What is your decision?" he asked both and saw Princess' face tighten.
He knew it. He saw it coming. She was gonna create trouble.
But Jungkook was calm. This is what he loved about his son. He knew how to handle any kind of situation. He knew that even if death came knocking on Jungkook's door, his baby would know how to send it back.
But Sr. Jeon didn't know what lay beneath that calmness.
"I am asking you both again," Sr. Jeon stressed, his eyes mainly on Princess, "I have said again and again. I want this family bloodline pure. I don't want any outsider dirtying it."
Yes, right. This was the Jeon tradition. To keep the family bloodline intact and pure. Never to trust any outsider. Both Jungkook's and Princess' mothers were Sr. Jeon's distant cousins.
Jungkook's mother passed away after giving birth to him and Princess' mother ran away leaving the 3-year-old Princess in Sr. Jeon's mansion. Sr. Jeon never tried to find her since she too had a troubled past and was saving herself and the empire from her enemies.
"I am not marrying him," barked Princess, her whole body shaking, "I have told you. He's my step- brother. I – I can't do this."
Sr. Jeon rolled his eyes, "He's a stranger to you. You both don't share any biological parents. Your parents were different. His are different. Both your parents abandoned you Princess and I –"
