Chapter 5: Descending into the Darkness

As soon as Sophia left the arcade, she left to explore a little more and found a staircase. She went deeper into the realm. She was surprised to see more down there. Maybe she could explore these rooms. As she went room by room, she saw a few rooms that were saunas, a bigger pool, and a long hallway. She decided to go down the long hallway and heard a lot of love music. As she walked through the hallway, the music was changing from room to room. Astaroth came up behind Sophia and shocked her.

"I see you found the love hall. Pretty cool huh?"

Sophia, jumping from the voice. "Oh hi, Astaroth. Yes, I guess I did find the love hall. I didn't receive a map, so I don't know where I'm going and what is where, so I'm spending time going through the halls. I can see why you call this the love hall."

Gabriel came up next to Astaroth.

"This was actually my idea," Gabriel says.

"Interesting. I see Astaroth took you up on that offer. It looks good."

"Thank you."

"Gabriel, why don't you open one of the available rooms so she can see what is inside," Astaroth replies to keep everything going.

"Of course Astaroth."

Gabriel opened one of the rooms and Sophia walked in. It looks like an apartment for couples.

"This is one room, one of the more calm rooms. I built more kinky rooms too. Do you want to see them?"

"I'm good, but I'll keep that in mind." Sophia replies, still looking around the room.

Gabriel walked out of the room, Astaroth nowhere in sight. Sophia followed behind Gabriel.

"I'm going to keep exploring. Would you like to join?"

"I have to keep building. There is a lot to do. Astaroth likes to make sure everyone is happy."

Gabriel must have been a builder when he was alive. That's hot. Sophia's thoughts were going crazy as Gabriel walked away.

Sophia found a lot of hallways, most of which had staircases leading to them, and went down each one. The game hall, the main exercise hall, the sports hall, which had a lot of different sports. There were a lot of others, but Sophia wanted to find all the halls. Unfortunately, she was getting tired and needed to go back to her room. She retraced her steps and eventually found her way back to her room. As tired as she was, she tried to get through the night. She eventually fell asleep and woke up later than she normally did. She had a box laying at the end of her bed on the floor. Astaroth gave her a box with a lot in it. Jakie put it at the end of her bed. She put it on her bed and opened it up. There were ice skates, a baseball bat, some balls, and other stuff for the rooms she saw. "I know you were exploring, so I'm giving you these. If you'd like some more things, or want to return some stuff, let Thalia know and she'll alert me -Astaroth"

While she looked through the box, she tried on the ice skates. They fit. She took them off and headed down to the ice rink. Nobody was there. She threw on the skates and went on the ice. She wasn't perfect, but she was trying her best. After a little while, another woman showed up to skate around. Sophia took a small glance at her.

"Hey. It's nice to see someone else who loves to skate as well!"

She seems energetic and willing to talk to anyone. Maybe I can make another friend. Sophia thought as she held the wall for support. "What's your name?"

"Seraphina. What is yours?" Seraphina is a woman of boundless creativity and unwavering determination. Sophia let go of the wall to skate some more, getting better each time. Seraphina put her skates on and got on the ice. After a few hours, and a lot of talking later, they get off the ice and take their skates off and share goodbyes. Sophia went to meet Gabriel for dinner. After getting to the restaurant, she asks if Gabriel has shown up yet. He has and the host walks Sophia over to the table Gabriel was sitting at. There, they had a nice meal and chatted the whole time. Sophia talked about her new friend and how they had a lot in common. It was a sour taste in Gabriel's mouth but he didn't say anything.
