I sprinted upstairs rummaging through the drawers to look for my white Barcelona jersey Pablo gifted me. He had his last LaLiga game against Athletic Bilbao tonight at nine, so he and his team flew to the Basque country yesterday. I tried to distract myself as best as I could when Pablo wasn't here. Especially my words from a few nights ago repeated themselves in my head over and over again. "I just feel like we can't be happy." . Pablo blinked at me several times, probably trying to digest what I've said in the heat of the moment. He didn't say much more about it, I guess he just tried to get rid of that uneasy feeling from that afternoon. The paparazzi's still stood outside our house daily, so Pablo asked his manager Ivan if he could help us sue the company "footy.gossip", who posted private pictures of us these past months.
I had my last home game yesterday where we sadly lost 3:2. Alba and Elena came up to me, asking if I was alright. Of course I told them what happened but they couldn't do much, expect to help me get through this alongside my boyfriend, supporting me with kind words.
I stumbled back downstairs as the game began and sat back down onto our couch, sending Pablo a last cute selfie of me in my jersey, a habit we established as we started talking.
They played great in the first half. Not only did Pablo look extremely good in the away jersey (a/n: I swear I can't get over it how good he looked in it.), but they also already scored twice. During halftime, I opened Instagram, originally wanting to post pictures of a collaboration with Nike I did a few days ago, but was met with something that swept me off my feet in a matter of seconds.

"Baby come on or they'll have to wait and you'll get a fine by Xavi!" I snickered and put his backpack already in the back of his Audi.
"If I tell him you were the reason he won't. He likes you too much." Pablo joked and finally started the engine to drive to the Ciutat Esportiva. I had to be there too anyway, which meant I could take the car back home after practice and pick him up again in two days.
