Before his mother could finish her sentence the marksman of the pursuers shot her down.
Menji:MUM! WHAT DID YOU DO!
The poor boy then started to cry as the soldiers loomed over him.
Soldier:The association won't gain anything if we kill this boy. Afterall, we've slain the biggest threat to our future leader Sin.
Soldier:Besides what can he do. We've been monitoring this kid and he's so pathetic he can't even kill a fly.
The soldiers then laughed at Menji as he stared at them with pure rage.
Menji:You'll pay for this! One da-
Before he could finish a soldier stomped on his head banging his head down to the grass stained red with his mother's blood.
As the soldiers then rode away Menji wallowed in defeat.
Menji:Am I really going to allow this. No. I have to fight back.
Menji then grit his teeth as he picked up a stick from the ground attempting to thrust at a soldier but missing as the soldier slashed his right eye.
Menji:AHHHHH!
Menji then fell to the ground as he clutched his eye and stared at the soldier with disgust.
