"We've been here before." Bobby says.
"When?" Buck asks.
"Before you and Lia joined."
We were responding to a call about someone having something shot into their stomach. Turns out it was an old bullet from when his girlfriend tried to shoot him. The guy was abusive and hurt her in this exact spot.
"The bullet she fired at him, did it fly out of the tree when he blew it up?" Buck asks.
I look up after assessing the man and breathe out a quiet "Karma's a bitch".

"So I want to thank everybody for donating today."
Today Chimney was hosting a blood drive at the station, and I was all for it.
"I don't know if you know this or not, but 90% of all the blood given to patients in the Los Angeles area comes from volunteers."
I look over at Chim and give him a smile. He was proud to do this since blood from a volunteer, helped save his life.
"I know that we all put our asses on the line in the field every day to save people, but today, you're saving people, and all it's talking is a tiny prick of a needle. So simple, Mr. Buckley and Miss. Becker can't even mess that up."
I snicker at Chim's sass and Buck's fake salute to him. I see Bobby walk in as I finish up my with my blood donation.
"I don't give blood. All right? I never give blood. When I was a kid, they tried to take my blood, and I bit the doctor."
"You what?" I start to laugh.
"It's not funny." I quickly stop as someone taps my shoulder.
"Excuse me, I think I actually took you off a few minutes early. Do you mind if you go back?"
"No problem. Me and cap can do it together."
I give him a toothy grin as he sits down next to me and give everyone a glare.
"I hate you all."
"You're gonna need this."
Buck throws him the heart stress ball as he turns to me.
"You good? You like kind of pale."
"Me? I'm fine."
I do feel a little light headed but I ignored it as the same woman as before came up to me.
"You're Samatha Blake, right?"
"No? I'm Talia Becker."
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry."
She hurries to remove my needle and apologizes once more.
"It's ok I'll be fine."
I go to stand up, but I stumble due to my dizziness.
"Buck, I would get her to the couch upstairs."
"Copy that, Chim."
Buck carries me bridal style up the stairs and places me down on the couch.
"What is with you and blood loss, huh?"
I just laugh before hearing the alarm go off. I sit up a little too quickly and get dizzy again. Buck goes to sit me down, but I decline.
"I'm fine. I just need water, and I'll be sitting in truck on the way there. I'm not staying though."
I walk over to the fridge to grab a bottle water, and Buck walks beside as we go down that stairs. He holds my hand, just as a precaution he insisted.
