Lisa's expression was frigid cold. Although he remained silent, his gaze raged with murderous intent. Even the temperature around him seemed to have fallen to freezing point.

The scene from earlier replayed in his mind.

"Hubby, promise me. You can't make things difficult for my brother later. Leave this matter to me." Jennie requested in his arms.

"He slandered you for having impure relations with him..."

"My brother isn't someone like that. He must have misunderstood something."

"He ought to be slaughtered a thousand times over." His tone was certain.

"I won't let him off if he intends to harm me, but I also believe he would never do that." Jennie's expression was serious. "If you really kill my brother, you'll end up damaging our relationship irreversibly."

Lisa pursed his lips silently. He deliberated about it and felt that there were always other methods to killing Sehun. Would the blame possibly fall on his head if Sehun died out of the blue one day?

Lisa's gaze turned even more vicious as he recovered from his thoughts.

Bambam stood by the side in the living room and felt the urge to run away.

Even if Madam cheated on Boss, they weren't supposed to let an outsider like him find out. If Boss decides to kill him to silence him... he would really have to die a wrongful death.

Jennie watched Sehun in amazement. "Brother, our relationship has always been innocent. How did I become yours? Why don't I know about this?"

Sehun took in her charming features. She appeared especially sincere and open, and it did not seem like she was lying. He reminded her. "It was almost two years ago. On that day, I was drunk when you came to the Hong Sheng District to look for me."

When Lisa heard this, his expression turned dark. He was instantly enraged as he slammed his fist against the coffee table.

With a loud noise, the strong, red wood table shattered.

If this punch had landed on a person, they would definitely have died!

Jennie and Bambam's heart both jumped simultaneously in fright. Lisa was truly too terrifying!

But Sehun remained unmoved. He had already been prepared for death when he came.

"And then?" Jennie asked him. "Tell us everything you believe happened."

"When I woke up, I felt strangely relaxed." Sehun continued. "I noticed the blood on the sheets and vaguely recalled seeing you. Afterwards, when I questioned Gao Ru, the part-time worker, she confirmed that you had called her over to clean the house. My clothes at the time had also been changed. I asked Gao Ru and she said it wasn't her who had done so. In that case, it had to be you."

When Bambam heard this, he scratched his head. "Why does this sound so familiar?"

"Did you sleep with my brother and cause the misunderstanding to land on my head?" Jennie suddenly joked mischievously with Bambam.

Bambam made several spitting noises in succession. He then rushed to clarify. "Madam, you mustn't wrong me like that. I don't like men. I only like beautiful women."

"Did you think I would take a liking to you?" Sehun shot him a look. "You're just a bodyguard. Don't speak up if this is unrelated to you."

"It actually is related to Bambam." Jennie lifted the bedsheet that had been placed against the couch.

"Oh, I remember!" Bambam slapped his head. "On that day, I was receiving Boss's special training and had been thrown into a cave filled with snakes. I had nearly died with the way all of those snakes were clinging onto me. Madam... At the time, she was still Miss Kim. Miss Kim was really my saviour. She called me over to Hong Sheng District at the last minute. When I headed over, I saw that Sehun was completely wasted in the main bedroom. His clothes were also wet from alcohol.. Afterwards, I helped him change into a new set of clothes. So..."
