Hey, I'm Lilith Sinclair...
No, I wasn't bitten by a radioactive spider...
*Lilith is standing in the subway, which stops after a few stops. She gets out and goes up the stairs out of the subway station. A sea of people stretches out in front of her. She's now in the middle of New York's street. Lilith wears a black coat, underneath a black tight-fitting dress and black boots. She wears Bluetooth in-ear headphones and listens to "Sand" by Dove Cameron*

"But...I'm not like the others, like people, like superheroes, like villains...at least I think so..."
*She continues up the main street. In the opposite direction of the crowd. Always go against the flow...*

*It's a sunny day in the middle of May. Lilith is sitting on her small balcony on the 3rd floor, which is decorated with plants and flowers.
The cell phone ringtone from final fantasy 7 victory fanfare sounds.*"Hello..." "Hello, Grandma...."
*Lilith had to smile a little when she heard her grandma's voice again after years. She's shaking, she's shaking so much that she can't think clearly.*
Maria: "How are you. Lilith?"
Lilith: "I'm fine, I...I'm sorry..." *Lilith starts to cry a bit* "I miss you..." *She puts her right hand in her face to hide it*
Maria: "Shh... everything is fine. I miss you too. I'm glad to finally hear from you again and especially that you got in touch with me." *Maria says caringly and there is a short silence* “You really traveled halfway around the world to avoid your mother?” *asks Maria*
Lilith: "She gave me no choice...You know how sick she can be. At least I can be sure that she can't afford a plane ticket to New York..." *Lilith answers and sniffles a bit. She wipes the tears from her face*
Maria: "I'm sorry...I should have kept you to myself when I had the chance" *You can hear regret and some remorse in the 55 year old woman's voice* "I don't understand what happened to her that she just-... " *She sighs*
Lilith: "Was there ever a period of time when she was happy or at least normal?" *asks Lilith, she is a bit upset*
Maria: "She was happy with your father...but then something went wrong...I don't know much...Your mother didn't have good contact with me..." *Maria replies and sighs again*
Lilith: "That's right, instead she just caused us all trouble..." *You can hear slight anger and remorse in Lilith's voice* "I'm sorry that I let her treat you like that...You are the only person who took care of me and also the smaller ones"(Siblings)
Maria: "I love you all very much...Your siblings are probably very controlled by your mother..." *She sighs* "What are your plans now? Can you manage on your own?" *Maria is worried about her granddaughter.*
Lilith: "I'm fine, Grandma...I've now started my studies here in New York at an art university. I also work in a library."
*Lilith tells her grandma*Maria: "Determined like your grandfather. I wish he could live to see that." *She laughed a little sadly* "You and your grandpa are very similar. I'm proud of you as much as he is. He's watching us from heaven."
Lilith: *She smiles sadly and tears are running down her cheeks again*"I still do those exercises that he showed me when he was in the army. I even have MMA fight exercises that I've mastered" *she says*
Maria: "You two were like bad luck and brimstone. He would have challenged you to a fight just to test you" *The two wallow in nostalgia and memories* "Well, my heart, unfortunately I have to hang up again. Maybe you'll come back to Germany soon and will visit me?" *asks Maria*
("...like bad luck and brimstone" Is a saying from Germany "Pech und Schwefel")
Lilith: "Of course I would like to come visit you"
*The two hung up and Lilith bursts into tears again. She hadn't cried so much in a long time. She feels empty but also happy that she has at least one person in her family who cares about her. Her dear grandma...
Lilith sits on her balcony for a few hours and watches the birds, the people, the traffic and also the small insects that romp around her. The bees that work diligently on the flowers and the butterflies that rest on the leaves and grass. For a moment she forgets the grief and pain that had been eating her heart up for years.*
