"Alastor's feelings..." An Appleradio Story

Chapter 10

Alastor was in his room curled up in his blankets as he couldn't help but cry, he hated crying so much that he wanted to stop. But Lilith appears in his room with an evil smirk as she goes closer to Alastor. And it has been a day since that night.

"Aww... It didn't work out, didn't it?" Lilith said as she laughed.

"Fuck off Lilith, I'm not in the mood to deal with your ass" Alastor said as he sat up and glared at her.

Lilith smirks as she thought of something before saying, "He is the King of Hell.... And you're a sinner... That's something no amount of potion is ever going to change..."

"But.... I love him..." Alastor said as he looked down.

"... If you really love him.... You'll let him go..." Lilith went to him as she lifted Alastor's head to tell him straight to his face.

Alastor stays quiet as he disappears into the shadows to get away from Lilith. He then went to a random room as he started sobbing as he fell on his knees before covering his face with his hands.

".... I.... I think it's for the best even though I don't like it really...." Alastor said quietly to himself as he continues to sob for a while.

Meanwhile with Lucifer he was already surrounded by Alastor ducks as he was worried about Alastor a lot. Then he heard a knock on the door and answered it and saw Charlie with a worried expression on her face.

"Dad...? Are you ok...? You have been stuck in your room for a day now..... I'm worried that you might be sad... Wait.... Dad?! You looked tired!! Have you slept yet?!" Charlie then said in a worried tone.

"Ah...! Oh I.... I just slept on the wrong side of the bed that's all...!" Lucifer then lied as he smiled tiredly.

"Ok.... Seriously dad.... Are you ok...?"

"O-of course...! Don't worry, my little apple seed!" Lucifer then lied so she doesn't worry too much.

"Ok... Come down soon... Alright dad..?" Charlie said before she went back downstairs as Lucifer closed the door.

When he was heading back to his workbench, someone appeared from the shadows surprising him as he jumped then got happy to see Alastor as he tears up and hugs him.

"Al...! I'm sosososososo sorry!! I didn't mean to hurt you I swear....!" Lucifer said as he continues to tear up. Alastor then hugs back as he was trying to hold back tears since he came here for a reason....

"Lu.... It's alright.... But.... I just came to say something.... That's best for both of us...." Alastor said that as his ears drooped down as he was saddened by what he was going to say.

"Of course Al..!" Lucifer said as he lets go of Alastor and stood back to listen to him.

".... Lu.... I think it's best if we end our relationship..... For your reputation of being the King of Hell....."

"W-what..? You aren't being serious.... Right...?"

".... I'm just a sinner while you are the literal King of Hell.... Which means I am below you.... I guess we were not meant to be.... I should have just kept my feelings to myself.... Well goodbye Lu..." Alastor said with a broken smile as he disappeared into the shadows and went to his own room where he just ended up breaking down sobbing wondering if this was the right choice.

Lucifer on the other hand stood there as tears were streaming down his face, he couldn't help but cry, thinking this was his fault that Alastor said that.

"N-no.... Nononono..... Am I destined to be alone for even more centuries....?" Lucifer said to himself as he fell on his knees and continues to cry, also remembering when Lilith left him alone centuries ago also back when Charlie was just a child. It pains him so much that he started to sob uncontrollably.

He then decided to continue making ducks to try to distract himself from getting too depressed.

It has been a full week and Charlie was getting even more worried about her dad since he hasn't come out of his room and even noticed how Alastor would barely come out as well, but she couldn't tell how he was feeling since he kept his smile up so people wouldn't worry about him. He just doesn't want the others to be worried about him, he doesn't want their pity at all. Charlie then noticed Alastor in the kitchen making his mother's jambalaya so he could eat it in his room by himself.

"Hey Al...?" Charlie then said as she walked up to him.

"Hm? Yes Charlie?" Alastor said in a cheery voice, he was still hurting from that day but he was good at hiding it to say the least.

"My dad hasn't come out of his room for days.... I'm worried about him.... Do you know what is up with him...?" Charlie asked Alastor as she noticed he was quiet for a while.

".... Ha.... What makes you think I would know....?" Alastor then asked as he looked at his jambalaya with sad eyes.

"I noticed you two have been fighting less like you two are friends now.... I thought that maybe you two would tell each other everything like friends would...?"

Alastor stayed silent as he bit his bottom lip as his ears drooped down, even trying to hold in tears as he took a breath before giving his usual flashy smile.

"Haha! No! He hasn't told me anything recently! Sorry my dear!" Alastor said in his usual voice as he was hiding his true feelings.

"Al.... You have also been distant from us... Like you hardly come out of your room unless you're making jambalaya... Which you have been doing lately.... And you usually eat a dead deer body or any demon body parts as well..." Charlie said as she noticed, Alastor then was quiet for a while, it is true he has been eating jambalaya quite a lot since his sudden break up with Lucifer. It was because his mother's jambalaya recipe would help him when he's sad at times. It would even remind him of his mother, aw, poor Mama's boy.....

"I just felt like eating jambalaya, am I not allowed to eat my mother's famous jambalaya recipe?" Alastor said as he stirs his jambalaya in the pot.

"That's not what I meant Al..! It's just that.... You hardly come out and it's hard to tell what you are actually feeling since you always still somehow keep that smile up...."

"Don't you remember what I told you before? A smile is a helpful tool my dey! And for this case, it inspires your friends!~" Alastor said in a cheery tone in his voice, still hiding his true feelings.

"I know.... But remember if you ever need to talk... Me and the others are here for you...." Charlie said as she left. Alastor twitched his ear, sure that was true but he doesn't need or deserve anyone's pity at all.

"Tch.... I'd rather keep my feelings to myself thank you very much...." Alastor then mumbled to himself as he finished his jambalaya as he poured himself some.

Lilith was watching Alastor as she smirked, she was enjoying seeing Alastor suffering and keeping his pain to herself as she chuckled lightly. She was even glad that Alastor's relationship with Lucifer was over.

And just like that, she went back to her normal self as she went over to Charlie.
