What He Taught Me

He taught me,
That I can be myself,
That the right guy will like me for who I am,
That I can have someone who I can talk to,
Every day and go on dates with,
That I can have someone who it's easy for me,
To be myself around him,
That I won't overthink everything,
That I can be honest with him,
That I should be more confident in myself,
That I can put myself out there,
That even if it doesn't work out,
I still have great memories with the person,
I still learned things about myself,
I can have someone who will make time for me,
He taught me a lot of good things,
And I'll always be thankful for him,
Thank You God for allowing me,
To have this opportunity and experience.
