                                              I prayed to You,
I asked for Your will to be done,
You knew it would end this way,
But I still had to go through it,
So I could grow and learn about myself,
You weren't going to let it completely break me,
That's why You allowed him to tell me so soon,
You knew the longer we talked,
The harder it would be for me,
You were looking out for me,
Just like You always are,
You love me that much God,
This first day is hard for me,
But I know I can get through it,
Cause I have You to lean on. 
You knew he wouldn't play with my feelings,
That he would be honest with me always,
Which is what I wanted,
Thank You Lord for always having me.
