the group had flown to the elsher household, located in a nearby province. violet had been over at the house so many times when she was younger. amelia's mother always felt like more of a mother than her own.

mary elsher, is a healer that healed her husband during his time in the riders quadrant. they fell in love after that first meeting and after he graduated they married. he always said that he never thought in a million years a healer would steal his heart but she did completely.

" my children! " mary said opening the door to see her youngest children and their friends getting off their dragons.

" mama! " caleb and amelia said running to hug their mother, it had been a year or more since amelia last saw her mother but they wrote to each other often and caleb hadn't seen her in a couple of months.

their mother embraced them and smiled, she let them go after noticing the group of friends standing there with her husband.

" violet and you must be friends of theirs " mary said hugging violet who very happily hugged her back.

amelia smiled, " they are friends from the quadrant. they are imogen, rhiannon, xaden, garrick, bodhi, maeve, hailey, sloane, sawyer, ridoc, and blake " she said pointing to each of them.

they all waved and mary noticed the rebellion relics on the marked kids. " you are marked kids "

" yes ma'am, i hope that doesn't affect your view on us " garrick said, the marked kids were nervous that she wasn't as accepting as caleb or amelia was.

mary smiled and shook her head, she didn't care who they were as long as they were friends with her son and daughter.

" of course not, anyone is a welcome in the elsher household especially friends of my children " mary said opening the door for them to walk in.

the group stepped into the house and were taken back by the decor of it, it wasn't as glamorous or big as they expected. it was big and spacious but not as luxurious for a general.

" let's get you healed " amelia said looking at bodhi who nodded. mary was preparing to heal garrick who was sat in a chair in the kitchen.

amelia had led bodhi up to her childhood bedroom, she wanted some alone time with him especially after what happened.

" thank you for coming for us " bodhi said as sat down on the edge of amelia's old bed. her room was covered in pink decor and books. it was simple but yet it was amelia, this was her style and bodhi loved it.

amelia pulled up her desk chair and sat in front of him, her hand pressed against his cheek to heal the cuts he had. " i will always come for you guys especially you " her thumb was rubbing on his cheek as he was starting to heal.

bodhi leaned forward and pressed his forehead against hers, " marry me, after you graduate "

amelia's eyes widened and she pulled her forehead away from his, she couldn't believe he was asking this right now.

" what? "

" i'm never going to love anyone as much as i do with you, i can't live without you even if our dragons weren't bonded. i always dream about our future together after the quadrant, so amelia elsher will you marry me after you graduate? "
