Tina's house Atlanta, Georgia

"I thought there was light at the end of this tunnel, but as the end came near the tunnel kept getting longer. As I try and tackle  the day, the tunnel keeps getting longer and longer and more stressful. The tunnel just gets darker & I can't even see five feet ahead of me, I just wish this would end, what is ever going to give."

"I need money the kids need new school clothes and I don't get paid until the day after school starts. The light is due I will pay you back as soon as I can" he looked at me like I was a complete stranger, I hated asking him for anything. "So, that's not my problem Tina! Them kids are not even mine, my momma told me so and my sister" he semi yelled from across the room "You're their father Kendrick please!
