As the lights dimmed and the screen flickered to life, Myles and Yanna settled into their seats in the cozy darkness of the cinema. Holding hands, they exchanged excited glances, anticipation coursing through their veins as they prepared to immerse themselves in the magic of the silver screen-- As they decided to watch a cinema today.
Yanna snuggled closer to Myles, resting her head on her girlfriend's shoulder as they waited for the movie to begin. "I'm so glad we decided to do this," she whispered, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
Myles smiled, her heart fluttering at the sound of Yanna's voice. "Me too," she murmured, threading her fingers through Yanna's hair. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be than right here with you."
As the opening credits rolled and the soundtrack swelled, Yanna and Myles shared a knowing smile, their eyes shining with excitement. Together, they lost themselves in the captivating world unfolding before them, their laughter mingling with the sound of the movie as they shared whispered commentary and inside jokes.
With each passing scene, their bond grew stronger, their connection deepening with every shared moment. Yanna reached for the popcorn, her hand brushing against Myles as they both reached for the same handful. They laughed softly, their fingers intertwining as they shared the snack.
As the movie reached its climax, Yanna felt a surge of emotion wash over her, overwhelmed by the beauty of the story unfolding on screen and the love she felt for the girl beside her. Turning to Myles, her gaze filled with adoration.
"You mean everything to me," Yanna whispered "I'm so grateful to have you in my life."
Myles eyes shimmered she met Yanna's gaze, her heart overflowing with love. "I feel the same way, Yanna," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of the movie. "You're my everything."
In that moment, surrounded by the soft glow of the screen and the warmth of each other's love, Yanna knew that they were exactly where they were meant to be—side by side, hand in hand, forever and always. And as the credits rolled and the lights came up, they embraced each other tightly, grateful for the sweet moments they shared together in the darkness of the cinema.

The drive home felt unusually quiet for Yanna and Myles, with an unspoken tension lingering in the air. Yanna couldn't quite put her finger on why the atmosphere felt so awkward, but she wanted to break the silence.
"Hey, love," Yanna ventured, her voice soft as she tried to initiate conversation. Myles responded with a noncommittal hum, and once again, the silence enveloped them like a heavy blanket, broken only by the music playing softly in the background.
As the familiar strains of "Favorite Lesson" filled the car, Yanna found solace in the melody, leaning her head against the cool glass of the car window and humming along softly. It was a song she loved.
Unexpectedly, Myles broke the silence. "Uh, Hey, Love, I almost forgot, I have a gift for you in the back," she said, her voice slightly hesitant. Yanna's curiosity piqued, and she turned to see a paper bag sitting on the backseat.
"Can I?" Yanna asked, seeking permission to open the gift. Myles nodded, a small smile playing on her lips as Yanna eagerly reached for the bag. With careful fingers, she untied the knot and peered inside, revealing a plushie—a thoughtful gesture that warmed Yanna's heart.
"Thank you so much, love!" Yanna exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with delight as she pulled the plushie out of the bag. Myles smiled fondly at her, her eyes crinkling at the corners with adoration. "She already has a name, Lemon" Myles added, the affection in her voice palpable.
Yanna couldn't help but smile back, her heart swelling with affection for Myles. "Lemon," she repeated softly, her mind already buzzing with ideas for her new plushie's adventures.
But amidst the warmth and happiness, a nagging doubt lingered in Yanna's mind—a shadow cast by Maloi's unsettling revelation. Summoning her courage, she broached the topic, her voice a bit hesitant.
"Love, I have a question," Yanna began, her gaze fixed on Myles as she navigated the familiar streets. Myles tensed imperceptibly, a flicker of unease passing across her features before she composed herself.
"What is it po?" Myles replied, her tone carefully neutral as she kept her eyes on the road ahead.
Yanna took a deep breath, steeling herself for the conversation ahead. "The other day, were you at a cafe? Maloi said kasi na she saw you with some girl e." she said, her words carefully chosen. She watched as Myles' reaction shifted, her body language betraying her surprise before she quickly regained her composure.
"Yeah, I was with my workmates," Myles answered, her voice steady but lacking its usual warmth. Yanna couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story, but she chose to accept Myles' explanation for now.
"What's the name of the girl? The one you were with in the table po." Yanna pressed, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Ah.. If you're not comfortable saying, it's okay."
Myles hesitated for a moment before responding, her gaze flickering towards Yanna before returning to the road. "Ah, she's Vien," Myles replied, her tone measured. "I was with my other workmates too, but they were ordering food kaya si Vien lang kasama ko sa table nun."
Yanna nodded, though her mind was racing with questions. Something didn't quite add up, and she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at her insides.

Lost in her thoughts, Yanna was startled when the car door suddenly swung open, causing her to jolt upright. Myles quickly moved closer to the door to assist her, apologizing for the oversight as they arrived at their destination.
"Sorry, love, I didn't notice you leaning on the door when i opened it," Myles said, her voice tinged with regret as she helped Yanna out of the car. "We're here na po pala."
Yanna offered a small nod of understanding, though her mind was still consumed with questions. As they entered the building together, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Myles' explanation. But for now, she chose to push aside her doubts and focus on the present moment, determined to enjoy their time together despite the lingering uncertainty.
