ᴡʜʏ ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ꜱᴍɪʟɪɴɢ?

THE NEXT DAY (UNIVERSITY'S LIBRARY) :-

Joshua and Jeonghan were doing some research for the play that they both had signed up for. Jun and Jeonghan were a part of the sound production crew whereas Joshua was in charge of the backdrops, or that's what he thought before his friend dropped a bombshell.

"Why should I help the Sound team make the music?"

"Teamwork you know" replied Jeonghan smiling sheepishly.

Joshua sighed, he already had a lot of work piled up on his head. But since the other was his twin, he agreed. "Fine LOKI!"

" Now the synopsis of Shakespeare's play" 

" But I already know abou-" The male was interrupted by Jeonghan.

Joshua's POV :

"Shhh, now listen -

So, it's about love in the midst of the conflict between two families"

I nodded, this plot sounded familiar

"The story of Romeo and Juliet's families who were sworn rivals even before their birth."

That's what happened to me and him.

"They needed to stop their hearts from falling for each other"

But I definitely failed to do that. It's not my fault that Seok makes me fall deeper in love every single time I see him.

"But fate always brings them to meet"

Fate always plays cupid in love stories

"In the end, they just can't resist their feelings"

This part, I'm not sure about. Our relationship still feels  one-sided.

"Therefore, all they can do is keep their relationship hidden from other people"

That's true, none of our gangs know about us, even if this entire thing was built over a bet.

"From two people who can't be friends, they became two people who can't be just friends."

I don't why but that statement describes my love for him perfectly. 

"Why are you smiling?" asked Jeonghan. I just realized that I had been grinning like an idiot for a long time. 

" I was umm... just i-imagining i-it" I answered nervously. 

NOBODY'S POV:

Jeonghan wasn't going to believe his lie. He knew that something was off. 

"Also, can you take care of the audition for me tomorrow ?" he asked.

"Ask someone else" stated Joshua, shaking his head. "Why can't you do it Han ?"

"Hyungwon wanted to meet up" said the other.

" He's still your boyfriend?" Jeonghan slowly nodded." You know he's not the one for you right ?"

" But I don't know how to end our relationship"

" Just break up" suggested Joshua. Jeonghan and Hyungwon had been dating for two years straight. But Hyungwon was never as serious as the other about it. 

" I know but-"

"No buts, I can't stand you being heart broken about someone who doesn't even care about you"

"All right" said Jeonghan in a defeated tone.

"If you're going to do it tomorrow then only will I take care of the auditions" said Joshua with a smile. 

"After that, I'm finding you someone new and better" he added causing his friend to laugh only to be caught by the librarian who returned a cold stare. Typical evil twin 😈

THE DAY OF THE AUDITIONS :-

Hoseok, Jennie (his assistant) and Joshua were seated on the first row of the auditorium. 

The first one to try out was Minho. 

"Let's see your improvisation" instructed Jennie.

" Remember that we made the script easy for you all  and did not make use of old English" added Hoseok.

Minho took a deep breath before starting his act.

" I love you with all my heart, Juli- Ooh ! A cat!" Minho exclaimed suddenly. His beginning was great but the last bit got everyone confused.

"A cat?" asked Joshua blinking with confusion.

Minho got down the stage and headed towards the corner of the auditorium. There was a cat, he started playing with it.

"Who let a stray cat inside?" yelled Jennie. 

" He's of no use, NEXT!!" announced Hoseok. The next auditionee entered. His name was ...

" The next if Flex, no Filx, or is it Fix. Hey kid, what's your name?" asked Hoseok confused.

" It's Felix, my Korean name is Lee Yongbok" said the deep voiced male.

" Please start Felix" said Joshua with an encouraging smile. 

" The thing is that my Korean is really bad so..."

" It's ok" answered Jennie.

"So just in case I-"

"Lee Yeonbok please start " requested Hoseok.

"It's Lee Yongbok"

" Are you going to start or what?" asked Hoseok, getting slightly mad.

" Yeah, so do I have to sing or rap or dan-" 

" You're annoying, just leave" said Hoseok, pointing towards the door.

"But my friends call me sunshine" stated Felix disappointed. 

"LEAVE!!" 

There were many more people worse than them. For example, San and Wooyoung came thinking that they were going to get the best couple award. But there was one auditionee who was an old man. He sang only for 10 seconds before the judges kicked him out. There was only one person who managed to impress the judges, Taeyong. 

Since he had got the play's Romeo, Hoseok wanted to wrap up. But Jennie had announced that there was someone left to audition.

" He deserves a chance" she said.

"Fine! Let him in"

"Let's just hope that he's better" thought Joshua, he didn't really like Taeyong's behaviour.

Little did he know...

Who all are anticipating for the comeback ?? 

I kinda feel like it's gonna be Wonwoo's era, what do ya'll think?
