A Day Alone

Narrator P.O.V

Everyone was seated at their respective tables with their friends. Sasha with Connie, Krista with Ymir, Jean with Marco, Mikasa with Armin...wait someone is missing. That someone is...

Mikasa P.O.V

"Where is Eren?" I asked Armin. He gave me a quick shrug. I had saved him food just in case he came in late but as breakfast was nearing an end he didn't come so I gave the extra plate to Sasha who was practically begging for it.

 Eren still hasn't showed up today. I wonder if he is in his room. When  I reached his room I knocked waiting for a response. Nothing. I opened the door and he wasn't there, so I shrugged it off and started training.

Eren P.O.V

Today I decided to spend the day alone because I needed time and silence for thinking. What i'm thinking about is a confusing feeling I have about Mikasa. She is my adoptive sister and she is very overprotective of me and it gets annoying sometimes. Anyway I can't help but get a weird feeling in my stomach when I'm around her. I mean I can't like her, she is my sister! Well adoptive sister, but that doesn't matter. I think I'm going to talk to Armin about this.

As I was waking back to the base I saw Jean talking to Mikasa. I got mad but I stayed quiet and walked to Armin.

"Hey Eren!" he said as he noticed me 

"Hey Armin."

"Where were you?" 

"I had to figure something out, but I need your help."

"Okay, go ahead."

I explained to him my feelings and  he stood there silent for a second.

"I think you like her Eren." Armin said giving a bright smile.

"W-What. N-No I don't" I said stuttering and apparently blushing 

"Yes you do! You're blushing." Armin practically shouted

"Shhh! Someone is going to hear."

"Sorry. Look I have to go. Bye Eren."

"Bye Armin."

I think he might be right, but who wouldn't like Mikasa she is perfect!

"Hey Eren." I hear a familiar voice. I turn around to see Mikasa.

"Hey." I reply slightly blushing 

"Where were you and what were you and Armin talking about."

"I needed to  be alone and nothing. What were you and Jean talking about?"

"He asked me on a date."

"What did you say?" I said rather angrily

"I haven't told him anything yet." I sighed a sigh of relief.

"You should tell him 'No'."

"I was but why do you think so?"

"Umm...Well you deserve better than a horse." I said being truthful.

"Thanks." she gave a slight smile.

"Let's go it's almost time for dinner."

Mikasa nodded and we went to go look for Armin. We couldn't find him so we went to go eat.

"Hey Mikasa!" 

I turned to see who was going to bug Mikasa. It was Jean.

"Hi Jean." Mikasa with an emotionless face.

"Have  you decided on my offer?"

"Yes. I'm sorry but no."

"Oh ok." 

He walked away rather sadly and i laughed at the rejection. We walked to our usual table and after 5 minutes Armin came in and sat with us.

"Hey guys."

"Hey" I replied

"Hi."

The rest of the day continued as normal and I couldn't help but think if I should tell Mikasa why I wasn't there. Maybe tomorrow, I need to get some sleep.
