Chapter 8

New pov

I left from there this was too much to handle for me I heard p krist calling me but I ignored it, I didn't want to talk to them now any of them not even Tay, the look he had when I said that we were in a relationship it broke my heart he was disgusted by it or what was it hate? I don't know but I know for sure he didn't like the idea of me dating him and I can't blame him for that wasn't it was me who wanted it to happen didn't I ask him to be a stranger after all so it's just that he is granting my wish.

But then why does my heart feel so broken shouldn't I be happy that he made my wish fulfilled but I can't this is too much to handle I just want to go home and hide myself from everyone I guess I'm cursed because of me maybe if I was not around nothing would have happened.  P Singto called me when I was going to reach home "Yes P Sing" Did P Krist say anything about what happened no right or else he wouldn't have called me he would have come home "Nong it was Kay right the one who asked you to break up with Tay," he said and the memories of that day came into me I hesitated to answer but p continued and said not to worry anymore that Kay won't disturb us anymore P took care of him and we are free from him, to be honest this news boosted me a bit now i can be with Tay I'll make him remember everything and if he hurt me I won't backout its me who messed up this time and it should be me I'll do my best for Tay for us and everything will be fine.

Author pov

New went home with the motivation to look after Tay and to make him remember everything so the first thing is to is taking care of himself if he don't take care of himself then how will he take care of Tay.

After having dinner, New took a refreshing bath and settled into bed, but sleep eluded him as his nightmares persisted, haunted by the events of a few days prior. Determined to talk and to take care of Tay once he was discharged from the hospital, New resolved not to succumb to tears upon seeing him again. He steeled his resolve, knowing that he would speak to him as soon as he was well enough to leave the hospital.

One week later........

Tay was discharged and Krist told New that soon Tay will be going to the company which made him happy, this one week was a mess without Tay it was too difficult to handle Singto came to his rescue the doctor after his shift came to help the poor boy these days.

Despite feeling exhausted, New dragged himself out of bed, knowing he had to go to work for the sake of their company. He reluctantly got up and headed to the office, skipping breakfast due to an empty fridge, hoping to eat something later in the day.

When New came to the office there were a bit of wispers he wondered why people are doing it but he ignored them and went inside the cabin and he saw what he shouldn't have Tay was there and there was a women with him who is clinging with him and Tay didn't even show any expression it was like he was ok with it, he didn't have the face that he did when New said about him. This broke New very much all the motivation he thought came down in a second and the women who was with Tay was Nueng, she was the one who tried to distance the two of them and Tay used to hate her a lot because taynew used to fight because of her but today it's New who is standing out and it's her with Tay.

The women had a smirk on her face and said "Sir New when did come I'm sorry I didn't notice you, I came here to meet boss it's been long time" she said and the smirk was still on her face,  Tay's attention shifted abruptly as the woman's voice pierced through his reverie. He glanced up, catching sight of the women's smirk, he ignored her.

He saw the man standing near the door, the familiarity of her presence stirred something within him. "New," he repeated softly, the name echoing in his mind like a distant echo. Despite the fog of confusion clouding his memories, there was something about him that felt like a missing piece of the puzzle. He wanted to speak to the latter since the hospital incident but he never came and tay's pride stopped himself from asking about New with Krist but now the boy is here at last he can talk to him.

On the other hand New was hurt he couldn't speak anything he wanted to tell her to get her hands off her boyfriend but he couldn't because Tay don't remember him." I...I have some work I came to collect my files" he said grabbed some random files and left from there he did not want Tay to see his tears and worst not that women who has her hands on Tay now.

It was poring down maybe the was also sad seeing his condition he don't know where to go, he wants to go home and tuck himself inside the bed and never come out. He was not angry with the women but he was mad at Tay, when he had told him their story the disgusted on his face that was showing was not there when she was clinging to him he know that Tay lost his memories but how can he allow anyone else to come close to him, he was really hurt this time but what can he do all all the ideas and hopes he had only a few days ago were now completely ruined. Despite the heavy downpour, New paid no mind to it. He didn't bother taking his car and instead walked down the road to his apartment.
