Hey everyone! What a ride, huh? I'll keep my ting brief!
BentDownSpoon is...over. I'll keep this post up for anyone who will have questions in the future but for the most part, this is all that's left of BentDownSpoon. I've hit some hard patches, and life just pushed me into a different direction. I have a few things to go over for what this means for everyone and my books/stories going forward.
1) No more updates here, or on Wattpad in general for the foreseeable future. Wattpad has made it extremely clear that they don't support me as a writer and them deleting my Megan book and closing every ticket I put in to speak about it for YEARS made that clear. Sorry for those of you that enjoyed it. This is not a very queer POC/black female writer friendly website. I've had my works deleted or outright stolen and reposted and they've done literally nothing about it.
2) I do have a few imagines still up on Tumblr, if you find them feel free to read them, but I probably won't be updating there very much it's pretty dead unfortunately.
3) I'm writing a Book! An honest to God, Barnes and Nobles, Book store worthy book. All original story, all from this chaotic brain of mine. It's a fantasy novel that features a POC cast with some juicy romances and of course plenty of plot to rip your heart out before I gently put it back inside 😌 You can follow my journey to writing it on Tik Tok. My username is ChronicallyShay7/ChronicallyShay. For those of you who have no idea what I look like, you can satisfy your curiosity there. I will be using that as my ear to the ground as I write. I would love to see you there, and hopefully we can build a new relationship as we all transition into this new stage of life. I started writing on Wattpad in 2014 as a disgruntled 17 year old who had never written an imagine and only book fanfiction before that. You all have seen my ups and downs. I will forever be grateful to you for showing me love and support when I literally had nothing or no one else.
I'm alive today because you believed in me and my writing. You gave me strength and the will to keep going when I didn't want to. Thank you, and I love you all. ❤️
