Chapter thirteen: exposed

Regina's POV:

"Wow I knew Lux was ambitous but I never thought she could be such a vicious snake", Jill said while we sat down at the coffee shop.

The video of me and Lux was the perfect opportunity for me to make her life even more miserable.

Jill was already mad at her and had a crush on me, so she was the perfect person to be taken advantage of and used for that without making it seem like I was behind it.

"Yes I genuienly thought she liked me but no, she only used me to get ahead with her music", I said, pretending to sound hurt.

"Yeah leading someone, who genuienly likes you on, making them believe they have a chance, only to drop them, after you got what you wanted is a new low, I never thought Lux would reach. My friend turned into a career hungry bitch", she said with each word having even more anger behind it.

"She really broke my heart when she rejected me so cruelly especially for a monster like Janis, who terrorized me in my past for not liking her back", I said and I was getting so into this that I almost started to tear up.

Jill immediately held my hand and soothingly caressed it.

"These two really deserve each other. God, rejecting you to be with your bully... I can't imagine the hurt you feel but it's good that you saw her for who she really is before you could fall even deeper for her", she said to cheer me up.

"I know, I just thought someone finally liked me for me and not just for my money and looks but I guess I was wrong", I said and she squeezed my hand even tighter.

"You're way more than that. You're caring, fun, helpful... And I really enjoy to see your softer and vulnerable side right now. You have so much to offer, Lux is such a fool for not seeing how great you are and go for this obsessive freak", Jill said and I smiled softly.

She was simping so hard for me that she totally forgot about the insults I threw at her. It was hiliarious.

I loved it when people were down bad for me even when I was mean. It made me feel even more powerful.

"I'm glad you're here for me and listen but it must've been difficult for you too... Lux knew you were interested in me and yet she still lead me on. Getting betrayed by a friend can sometimes hurt even more than getting betrayed by a partner", I said, knowing I could push her right where I wanted her.

"Yes, I was absolutely devastated when I saw that video. We were friends for years but I guess it wasn't real. She probably also just used my skills with the guitar to get famous on tiktok. However, I'm glad you reached out to me to explain the context of the video", she said and longingly looked at me.

She wanted me so much I bet I could get her to do anything especially because her hatred for Lux was so fresh now.

"I had to because we both got hurt by the same person so I thought we should stick together", I said.

The waiter finally brought us our coffee and I took a few sips before she continued to talking.

"Absolutely. You can always count on me Regina. I will be there for you. I will help you to get through this hurt", she said and I had to hold myself back from laughing.

She was so thirsty for me that it was almost pathetic.

"But why should we be the ones, who suffer the consequences? We aren't the assholes here", I finally said to get to the point and Jill raised her eyebrow.

"What do you mean?", she asked and my expression turned serious.

"Tiktok is currently hating on Lux so I guess, if you expose some behind the scenes tea of her as a person, people will immediately eat it up and hate her even more. Everyone would see her for who she truly is and we would get justice", I suggested and she grinned.
