The race is a racers big dream, even though the race itself is quite boring. But the race track is iconic. And the city is breathtakingly beautiful. It's one of the reasons I chose to live here, but also for the tax stuff to actually keep the salary I make. Not that it matters though.

The track is in the monegasque streets, and it's fascinating how we are racing with 300 km/h on the streets I drive on with my normal Ferrari in maximum 70 km/h. I love Monaco, also because the weather has yet to disappoint me. It's a good sunny day.

I walk into the Ferrari motorhome where I see Kai. I give him a bro hug. "Hey Mateo" he says and I let out a chuckle. "Hey Kai " I answer. Me and Kai raced together before f1, so we are actually friends outside of the sport. Just like we are with Hans and Luis too.

"You look way happy today bro" Kai chuckles as he looks at me. I must agree. That's what happens when you're in love I guess. I don't answer as I can't really sort out my thoughts. Kai continues "hmm wonder why lover boy?" He says the last part just so me and him hears it. I give him a nudge to his arm. As if he didn't fall for Nora yesterday. We start talking about our yacht trip yesterday. Our team principal catches me and Kai talking (mostly gossiping to be honest) , and he comes over to inform us that we should change soon.
Yes the practice sessions. I nod as I begin the short journey over to my drivers room. These sessions are important to see how the car performs, and changes that should be done before tomorrow before qualifying.

I've changed into my fireproofs , and i tie the arms around my hips. and I'm trying to relax my body a bit before going out to warm up before the race. Having calm music playing in my headsets. Just some calm me time. I love me time.

As I'm in my calm trance I see that my phone lights up. It's seems like I got a message from Emma. My cheeks get warmer and I smile. I feel a shiver run down my back as I open the chat. Gosh what this woman does to me.
