Prologue

"I can't think straight when I'm with you," Hyunjin admitted through gritted teeth. It was the last thing he would ever want to say to the man before him but he couldn't deny it. He was so... distracting. It was the way his hair always fell perfectly around his face without him trying, how his lips would draw into a fine line whenever he was frustrated, and how rapidly he would blink whenever he was confused or thinking. It's how he was always there for Hyunjin when he needed him most and would never leave his side unless Hyunjin asked. His gentleness when he took care of him and his softly spoken words when it was just the two of them. Everything about this man was breathtaking but Hyunjin would never tell him that.

"What do you mean by that?" Minho raised his brow, his eyes flashing down to Hyunjin's lips for a brief moment and right back up again. The quick action didn't escape Hyunjin's notice and he swallowed harshly before continuing.

"You know what I mean." And it was true. Minho knew exactly what Hyunjin was referring to but he still pushed, wanting to hear it from Hyunjin himself.

"Then what do you think when you're with me?" Minho took a step towards Hyunjin and gazed deeply into his eyes, searching for the answer himself. The heel of Hyunjin's foot hit the wall in his attempt to shift away from Minho and he quickly realized he was being backed into a wall, literally. There was no escape. He knew he would have to face this reality sooner or later but Minho was demanding it now and Hyunjin wasn't sure he was ready.

He took a steady breath and straightened his back, gaining a few inches of height on the older which motivated him to proceed. Hyunjin didn't know if he would be able to muster up the courage to say this again so he took his shot. It was now or never.

"Minho, I think I'm in love you."

A/N

❐  Idk how often I will update this mainly because this wasn't a story I had any planning for. I mean I normally don't plan my fics anyways but this has like no outline besides for whats in the description so 👍

❐  Heights in this fic will remain the same as in real life so if something seems off either I forgot or I was writing and it sounded better and I didn't realize

❐  This fic will be a little bit angsty but like if ima be honest I don't know how to write angst so we'll see how that goes
