Chapter 48: Let's Start Over

* Zarion's POV *

My life consisted of Little Debbie snack cakes & plenty wine watching tv. I had trapped myself inside this own world I created among myself. Chasing after someone who didn't see us physically together while I did one that was emotionally wrapped around me wrong. I opened another zebra cake & took a bite of it before I heard someone knocking at the door.
Birdman: Zarion!
I recognized the voice, but the conversation he had with me made me angry. What more did he have to say? He didn't see a future w/ me.
Birdman: Can you open the door? Look, I was wrong. Truth is, I ain't cared for nobody in a while. So when you came along, I didn't want it to happen. I done been hurt a couple times & I just didn't wanna face the fact or know what I wanted. Girl I know you in there! Open this door... I fucking love you girl.
I heard those words & a tear came up inside my left eye. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I walked towards the door & looked outside the peephole. He started to walk off before I unlocked the door.
Zarion: I fucking love you too.
I said before he came over & scooped me up into his arms.
Birdman: Let's start over. Let's do it right.
He suggested while kissing my neck & walking straight to the bedroom.
Zarion: Okay.
I hope he was serious this time. He sounded sincere anyways. It counted that he was here.
