Hey, how have y'all been? It's been a while since I last updated(1.5 years...sorry).
I hope you like this chapter.

Chapter 6:

Talia's POV:

Currently, I'm on my way to London  for the agency. "Hey, could you please pour me some orange juice?", I asked the flight attendant. " Yes, your highness." she said and handed me the glass.

¬¬¬¬ A few hours later¬¬¬¬
I finally reached London. I was supposed to spend a night here in a suite and then leave with the rest of the women tomorrow morning. Honestly, our land of Lactix was ruled by the british, so we all have a natural british accent. I have to take on the role of an 17 year old girl who is going on this little vacation to find herself rather than a bethrothed princess.

I have always fascinated manhattan. That is where my mum and dad met. My mum was an aspiring writer her pen name was Irina Sokowitz. My dad was a fan of that writer and wished to meet her. Little did he know she would end up being the love of his life. My dad and I shared these moments of him telling me about mom and his love for her whenever he got drunk, which my pals was rare.

I remember, the first time it happened I was 7. My parents came back from some get together. I was waiting for them and feigning ignorance to my royal babysitters constant plead to get my shit together and sleep. I acted bratty and followed my dad to the bar. There my mid 30s man stood looking at his phone. Gazing at pictures of mom and smiling. I stood next to his tall figure hoping for him to talk to me and he did.

I don't remember his exact words as my mind was groped by the thoughts of when I would find a man who speaks so highly of me and treats me the way my dad treated my mom.

Even on his deathbed he asked if mom was fine. And she, she died saying how much she loved me and dad.

It is the most beautiful yet tragic death I have ever witnessed and ever will probably since I will have to marry a gay man.
