“Cerise! Cerise Antoine something Beau-Louise! We need to talk!”

Shinya lifted his head up, red hair falling loosely over his face. A girl's voice. A voice he hadn't heard down at the beach - Unsurprising, since he was currently not _in_ the beach. He grinned, picking up the pace of his stroll as he walked towards the voice, hand raised in a preemptive wave.

He paused  to look around again, moving to bury His hands back in his pockets. Shinya raised an eyebrow at the girl. Blonde hair, this brown sort of coat with fluffy sleeves. Cropped leopard top. Hell, the poor girl was covered in scratches. She must be in need of help.

"Ah... who're you supposed to be yellin' at?"

The girl turned to him, gazing coldly. Shinya Shivered

"Not you. It's not that hard to figure out if your brain isn't totally fried."
the girl commented, a clear tone of derision  in her voice - as if she were annoyed at even having to talk to you. Her gaze still held you in place as if she were measuring you from toe to head.

"Oh... ouch" Shinya grimaced slightly "You know, ya' could try being' a little nicer. Put a smile on that pretty face. I know i might be stupid sometimes, but I do have a name– ya' shouldn't just go calling' people 'fried brain'''"

The girl didn't even bother to hide her irritation as she rolled her eyes
"pansy. You're the one bitching about being treated unfairly while you *voluntarily* look and sound like a little sissy."  She sneered, Either, Kotori had caught her in a very foul mood, or he was about to tame a shrew. "And don't tell me that I should be "nicer" you're a damn stranger. You're lucky I'm not taking a swing at that pathetic little face of yours."

"Hey! Hey! C'mon, now..."  He said calmly, though his eyes stayed narrow. Shinyabsighed as the words came out of his mouth
"Look..."  Shinya stepped back slightly, as if he had suddenly gained an idea "Why don't we just cool our jets for a moment? We don't need to get all hot and bothered over..." he waved his hand around "whatever the hell this is."

The girl seemed surprised by His calm demeanour - She'd expected him to argue back, but all she got was a strange sense of contentment. Before she could even ask, she paused as she took a moment to contemplate his offer
“...you're not just trying to waste my time, right?"
She asked, peering up into his eyes. His gaze met hers for a moment as he laughed
"Now what makes you think I'd do something like that? I'm just trying to be nice. It never hurts to just stop and chat every once in a while" he shrugged "Especially with a proper catch like you"
"Oh please. I've heard better pickup lines from a dead fly."
She scoffed and took a step back, her glare shifting back into one of pure annoyance.

Shinya grimaced, running a hand through his hair disparagingly.
"Wow, okay..."
He raised an eyebrow, his smile fading.
"I was just tryna be nice, you know? If you're just gonna be a dick about it...."
he shrugged again- It seemed to be a common habit- as he looked her over, his eyes now narrowed in mild curiosity as he took his hands out of his pockets

"So... if you really don't want to chat... then what're you doing? Just out for a walk?"

"You call that being nice? Saying I'm a 'catch' with that sleazy little grin on your face? You think I've never heard that shitty pickup line before?"
The girl spat, she didn't bother hiding her contempt with words anymore, but she froze, then sighed
"Look, You want to know, Pansy? I'm looking through radios. Have you ever seen those guys with the locker tags on? I'm onto something real big."

"So I say you're a catch and that's sleazy? Yeesh... someone doesn't get complimented often." he raised an eyebrow at her words. "Wait, what are you talking about?"
his eyebrow cocked to the side, that same smirk plastered on his face, playing dumb. This girl was looking for the beach. Shinya grinned, playing with the locker key under his shirt sleeve.
"If it's big, then why do you gotta say it like it's some big secret? Sounds to me like somebody wants to keep something all to themselves."
