"dad, who the hell are these asshole?" Emo ben asked, seven shadows appeared behind him as he spoke
"shit." we, the umbrellas, all said in unison
"is that really you?" Diego asked "and who are the weirdos on the balcony!" he slightly yelled
"they are the sparrows. My children." Reginald said smiling proudly
"your children?" I asked taking a step forward but five grabbed my arm pulling me back
"thats not possible old man." five said
"of course it is, I think id know, wouldn't I?"
"everyone else can see ben, right?" Klaus asked making sure he wasn't seeing ghosts again.
"nice hat Sundance." ben said kind of insulting Klaus, I turned around seeing all the sparrows behind ben, one stuck out tho, their eighth member, who was none other, than Jake. I frizzed and five must have noticed this, but he didnt turn around to see what for. He just pulled me a bit closer to him.
"They call themselves the umbrella academy, a group of scheming, perfidious malcontents who accosted me in the fall of 1963 when I was away on business in Dallas. Be warned, they claim to be my spawn."
"claim?" Allison started walking towards reggie "look, five, what the hell is going on?"
"I don't know yet, but it's concerning." five answered taking a sigh
"is he telling the truth?" One of the sparrows asked
We all turned to face the sparrows and thats when five noticed what I had seen a while ago, Jake, glaring daggers at all of us.
"not the part about is being perfidious." Vanya said
"no, were amateur-fidious, at best." Klaus said trying to make the situation better
"But we are his children." I said "this is our house."
"yeah yeah, we uh, we grew up here." luther backed me up, badly.
"yeah yeah we grew up here." a man with a distorted face mocked luther and his stutter
"I kind of think we would have noticed you." a pretty girl said from the left causing all of us to turn towards her
"hi, im luther." he introduced himself making me silencing cuss him out, according he was trying to flirt with the current enemy.
"okay, none of you belong here." Allison said not wanting to see luther flirt anymore
"oh! well then, I guess we'll just pack our bags and move out."A girl with glasses sarcastically said
Suddenly a flying cube started making noises causing the other sparrows the laugh
"you slay me Chris." ben said
"I wasn't expecting company." we turned at the voice who belonged to our robot mother, grace."this is the best I could do on short." suddenly her voice changed, her wiring must be bad. "short notice." she said placing down a plate of cookies
"mom." Diego said
"mom? she's a robot you perv." a women with black hair said
"its not a robot." I said, we all had a deep connection with Grace. we never saw her as machinery
