You looked up at the clock as you were getting come on the couch with your legs up, "God 7pm already" you thought to yourself. Just then someone knocked on the lab door "Iggy we got foo-" the man cut himself off whilst looking over to you "ooo~ Iggy whose that fine woman over there" the man playfully joked, Egon didn't find it funny "she's just a client, she's staying her for now cause there's 2 spirits in her apartment and she hasn't got anywhere to stay." He stubbornly replied. "Well why don't you join us for dinner miss.. uhh" the man stood waiting for you to speak up "oh yes sorry Y/N L/N but please just call me Y/N" you said while walking up to the unknown man "Lovely to meet you Y/N I'm Peter Venkman, joining us for dinner?" Peter asked. You look back at Egon then back to Peter and nodded.

As you walk through to the kitchen you see 3 dishes of Chinese set out "Ray, set out another dish for our lovely guest would you?" Peter said to the man sitting waiting to eat his food "we have a guest?" The man stood up from his seat with a confused look, he took turns looking at Peter then Egon then me and lastly back to Peter "sure there was loads left anyway" he said then Wales to a cabinet pulling out another plate. He put parts of every dish onto the plate then grabbed some more cutlery and put it on the small table. Egon and Peter were already sitting down "ladies first, you choose where you want to sit" the man said with his hand out between the 2 seats. You choose to sit beside Egon of course, the man pulled the seat out for you then sat in his own.

"I never caught your name by the way" the man said turning toward you "oh sorry" you said covering your mouth as you were still eating "My name is Y/N L/N but you can just call me by my first name, and you?" You say holding out your hand for him to shake "Ray Stantz." He said shaking your hand. Then you both go back to eating and listening to the boys ghost stories, which not gonna lie were funny but also scary.

You all finished eating and put your dishes in the sink for someone to clean up later. You and egon head back to the lab since you didn't have much else to do. "Oh I just realised I should probably get you a blanket and some pillows so you can go to sleep whenever you want, we should have plenty of spares" Egon said spinning around on his chair then walking out of the lab to get them. He came back a couple minutes later with 2 pillows and a jacket, "sorry, I thought we had more blankets but we ran out, but I got you my jacket so you don't get cold" he said walking up to you giving you the pillows and blankets "Thanks Egon" you say looking up with a smile. You notice his cheeks go slightly red which he covered by coughing and saying "well I better get back to work, I stay in the lab till late so I hope I don't bother you" he sat on his chair "no no your fine but just don't tire yourself out, I mean you've been working non stop since I've been here" you reply while rearranging your pillows and placing his jacket over your legs. "I'll be fine but thank you for your consern" he said with a soft smile then turned back to his computer.

You lay on the comfy couch in ball with Egons jacket over you pulled up to your face as you watch him doing his work slowly getting more tired by the second. You end up drifting of to sleep while Egon was still working.

After drifting of for a while you wake up again for some reason. You look over to see Egon still awake then over to the clock '3:27' "your still awake?" You question with obvious tiredness in your voice, speaking made Egon jump slightly as he saw you fell asleep a while ago. "Oh sorry if I woke you up, I'm just really determined to finish this" he said turning his attention toward you. "Well you need to sleep at somepoint" you say whilst yawning slightly, "well I'm not tired, plus a few hours is all I need" he said turning his focus back to his work.

You stood up from the couch and walked over to him, you gently place you hand on his face and turn it to you. You get closer "those bags under your eyes say otherwise, you need to sleep" you say smirking. He scoffs at you comment whilst blushing with a slight smirk as you start to walk away you say "don't want to be sleeping on the job later" then you layed on the couch again with his jacket over you, drifting off to sleep again.
