Chapter 30: Fate Worse Than Death! Oh, Poor You! + Story Updates

It was an early morning, up in the heavens. Entity sat on the edge of the roof of a building as he stared off at the ground. He seemed to be deep in thought, almost getting lost in the sight of it. But, when he noticed something moving in the distance, he was broken away from his thoughts. It was Lynette, and she was flying back after her most recent mission. He growled and shook his head before slowly floating from atop the building, deciding to greet her as she finally returned home for a while. Once Lynette made it safely, Entity bowed to her. Lynette returned the favor with a smile before finally speaking.

Lynette: "Good morning, Entity-kun! How are you? Where are Bunni and Lady Fluorescence?"

Entity: "Ah, Lynette! Welcome home! It is good to see you, it appears as though you were the only person who was not informed of the Ladys plans. Allow me to tell you it, and inform you of exactly what your role in this is."

Lynette: "I'm all ears, Entity-kun!"

Entity: "Lynette, Fluorescent's goal is to create the most powerful army in all of the realms. In order to do that, she requires quite a bit of Deoxyribonucleic Acid from the crowned prince of Hell. And, while Rosemary Conven and Carolyn Volum-Conven are both classified as the queens of Hell, they are not allowed to claim that title, technically. Since Zane has yet to abdicate his throne, he is still the rightful heir. Until he is coronated, he will forever be the heir, since he cannot abdicate the throne without first having taken it."

Entity spoke and kept his gaze locked onto Lynette as her face slowly began to contort from one of calm peace, to a face of nothing more than pure and unfiltered confusion. Though, neither of them would mention it.

Entity: "Now, once Lady Fluorescent has gathered enough DNA from the demon known as Zane, she will retreat to her quarters and begin casting the spell. Once the spell is completed, we will have our own undefeatable army! An army that is almost entirely the same as Zane Conven. The strength... the powers... the ability to awaken their own demons! It will be perfect. However, the only difference between the demon and the army will be loyalty. Our army will be undeniably loyal to Lady Fluorescent. Unable to do anything to fight her... and unwilling to relent in their attacks when she tells them to do so."

Lynette: "Yes, I understand. But, Entity-kun, what is the point of this? Why the army? And, most importantly... what is my role in this entire plan of hers?"

Entity: "Ah, Lynette... I do appreciate your concerns. Well, let us start with... 'the point' as you decided to put it. The point of it is... to gain control of every realm. We need more allies... more power... if we ever intend to combat her when she awakens again..."

Lynette: "Her? Oh, Entity-kun... you don't mean-..."

Entity: "Yes, Lynette. My mother... Kaguya Otsutsuki will awaken. I've been gaining more and more vivid dreams about her return... I do not know where... and I do not know when. However, I just know it will happen. There is no stopping it."

Lynette: "Entity-kun... I'm so sorry..."

Entity: "That is why we need the army... that is the point of it all! Your role in this lpan is simple. You are to return to the kingdom and realm of Kabara... infiltrate the castle through the shadows and locate anything that could potentially help Lady Fluorescent in her conquest of that realm. Do I make myself clear, as your superior?"

Lynette: Yes, Entity-kun. I will leave at once. But, I have to talk with Fluorescent, first!"

Entity: "She is currently busy. You can speak to her upon your return. Understood?"
