"Daddy's home!" The lacey happily chirped as he burst through the front door. Excitedly, his four family members went running towards the front door.
He was immediately greeted with his wife's embrace and a kiss on the lips.
"Missed you~" His wife greeted flirtatiously. The lacey husband chuckled and returned the embrace.
"Missed you just as much, my love." His attention turned to his 3 beautiful children, who were triplets. "Hey hey! There's my favorite munchkins!"
"Daddy! Daddy! Can you tell us the story of how you and mommy met? You promised you would do it after work!" The daughter with the green hair asked innocently with a broad smile.
"Oh, Rhianna, give daddy a break. He just got home!" The wife defended as she looked at the tired husband. The husband shook his head.
"No no, it's fine. How about we finally get to telling it? It won't hurt, yeah?"
"Do you want to?" The wife gently grabbed her husband's hand and kissed it. Shortly after, she let go. He giggled.
"Sure I do! The munchkins want the story, they'll get the story."
"Mommy told me it had blood and stuff in it!" The green son excitedly said, his tail thumping against the hardwood floor.
"Oh yes. Lots and lots of blood." The husband said with a bit of purposeful rasp for the mysterious effect. The blonde daughter squeaked and hugged her mother's legs. The husband laughed and kneeled down to his daughter's level. "But there's lots of love and friendship in it too."
"But I don't like blood! Blood is scary..." The daughter frowned as she looked from the husband to the wife.
"Well, then, I'll let you know when I tell the bloody parts. How's that honeybee?" He patted the daughter on the head. "Ooh! Your horns are growing in! That poked me a little."
"Woah! Will I have big horns like yours, daddy?" Her eyes held a certain excited sparkle.
"Haha, maybe! Daddy has to clip his though." He stood up. "Everyone, to the living room! I'll be there in just a moment!"
"Last one there is a rotten egg!" The son yelled out, rushing to the living room. The other two daughters laughed and ran to the living room too, trying to beat the son there.
"You sure they'd be able to handle our story?" The wife asked the husband after the children left. The husband smiled warmly.
"I'll be sure to tell them when the scarier parts come. Besides, they're 8, I think they're old enough to hear it." He gently went for his wife's hand, and she accepted gracefully.
"Well then, you lead the way." The wife responded, putting her full trust in her husband.
The couple walked over to the living room together, joining their 3 children.
"Mommy and daddy are both rotten eggs! Haha!" The son called out, teasing them. The couple laughed together.
"Ahh, darn." The wife remarked, playing along.
"So," The husband grabbed the photo album that contained all of his memories. "This is the story on how I was Laced By Love."
